TheDude5000
I f*cking loved it. Great opening for the season. I agree. OT: Is that the Manhattan skyline? I'm really interested in New York this year, that's why I ask.
Vanilla Shake
OT: Is that the Manhattan skyline? I'm really interested in New York this year, that's why I ask. Yeah, it's Manhattan. I've got a bunch of pictures of the city that I'm going to use for my signature. As a matter of fact, I think I might change it tonight. Are you still looking in to applying for that film school in Manhattan? To get back on topic, I can't wait to see what they come up with next week. And did anybody notice how some of the music used in this episode was similar to that heard on Leave it to Beaver? Come to think of it, Cartman reminded me of the bastard when he was wearing that baseball cap. TC718 / <629 / CF5
Don Garcia aka NjNakedSnake
Lewis Black's Root Of All Evil was 10x funnier in my opinion. They f*cking ripped Oprah, I can't wait to read about her reaction. Looks like a hilariously promising new show.
TheDude5000
Or you can use an image rotator like http://azupload.com so you can use a variety of Manhattan pics intead of just one. Anyway, yeah Root Of All Evil was awesome too. I hope Greg and Paul stay on the for the rest of the season. Judging from the preview it looks like they will. As for next week on SP, they'll probably do something relying more on a popular current event or trend or whatever.

Eh, I'd rather manually update it. Besides, AzUpload never works for me. It's not really much of a hassle for me to just upload another picture, so it's all good. Root of All Evil was awesome. Hopefully it'll do well in ratings and stick around for a while. Personally, I feel the Catholic Church is the root of all evil. Nope, in the previews they showed Patton Oswalt as one of the debators, who is just hilarious, can't wait for his episode. So, I'm guessing they'll be alternating. Finally, someone bashes Oprah on a large scale. And yeah, I really do hope the next episode of South Park is worth watching, this one was just dull. TheDude5000
I wonder if we'll have more "zany" episodes that don't have to do with anything currently going on in the world. This is the first Season premiere in three years that was just a normal episode. Last year of course we had the Jesse Jackson thing, and back in '06 with Darth Chef they were still mocking Scientology. @Vanilla: Probably didn't work because you used the normal AZ generated link instead of the secondary FF link that shows up at the bottom of the page. No I wouldn't like that, the satire is what makes that show great. And besides, this was being satirical towards HIV/AIDS research and the little funding that is getting. It is basically saying throw money at it and you will find the cure.

For example, this very same episode could have been done back in 2001 (with a PS2 instead of 360 of course). I'm actually looking forward to episodes poking fun at current controversies and popular things, actually. But it's also good that we're having more "normal" episodes lately. spyro_ie
This episode was so bad that I felt the need to post my opinions about it even though I havent posted in weeks. I mean there were little to no funny jokes in this episode at all. And I seriously began to believe that it was a "joke" episode when Kyle kept saying "It's not funny Cartman!" The whole "I'm HIV Positive" was in all honesty, quite lame. Don't get me wrong, I really love South Park, but my God was I shocked at this one. Very poor start to Season 12. Lets hope it improves greatly from here. The only redeeming thing was the guy at the airport. "Retro."

Goodfella.
It started off a bit meh, but by the second half of the episode I think it really picked up. Thought it was a pretty good episode. I'm also curious as to whether the cap and scarf will be an ongoing look for Cartman. I'd prefer it, he'd look less like just a fat Stan that way. GameChristopher
I didn't laugh at the "positive" joke until Kyle brought it up. But that, to me, was hilarious. I say just as good as any South Park episode can be expected to be. It wasn't crack-me-upp-constantly, but there's plenty of more episodes in the season to be that. Vanilla Shake
This Week on South Park: Britney’s New Look When the boys help Britney Spears get to the North Pole, they discover the shocking secret behind her popularity. http://www.southparkstudios.com/ Unfortunately they haven't posted a picture this time, and the main image at the top of the page isn't loading. Anyway, any of you hoping for an episode based on pop culture and the media should be happy. I'm liking the sound of this one. Kippers
A Spears episode was inevitable considering how much she's messed herself up as of late. I expect a typical episode with lots of random insults and jokes aimed in her direction. Looking forward to it 習うより慣れろ
TheDude5000
She's does a good enough job of embarassing herself now, so I hope they instead rip on her sh*tty first CD's and dumbass fans. Or just that whole boyband/girl pop sh*t that happened in the late 90's and early 2000's.
Vanilla Shake
Britney shat on the music industry, and now she will finally be the subject of a new asshole-tearing on South Park. Vanilla Shake
That was absolutely brilliant. I couldn't stop laughing, especially when the news report said they had blurred some of the image so as not to offend, and it shows her face all blurred out. f*cking classic.
