With a portion of his fanbase that turned to xbox 360, i think he might port it over. It'll be a while though Oh my God. How many times will I have to tell you? Why isn't Gears on PS3? Why isn't Halo on PS3? Why isn't Mass Effect on PS3? Oh they'll just port it over later on...yeah, not going to happen. Here is a link. It was actually MGS4 assistant producer Ryan Payton who said this. In a recent Reuters article about dying exclusives, it seems that MGS4 falls into the preceding category (duh). With the likes of previously exclusive franchises like Devil May Cry and Virtua Fighter going multi-platform, it seems "console exclusive" in this generation is an oxymoron. But Konami has already said they're "not set up for" multi-platform development, which was more evidence that MGS4 wouldn't be going to the Xbox 360 or any other platform. Furthermore, in this Reuters piece, MGS4 assistant producer Ryan Payton made it very clear- "We're telling our fans that if you want to play 'Metal Gear Solid 4', you have to buy a PS3," he said. "The PlayStation brand has always been good to us, and we're pretty bullish on the PS3." OK i understand now, but its still a possibility because many exclusive 360 games are coming to ps3. Bioshock to name one. Im just saying theres a small chance it could happen Okay. If Kojima was complaining about not having enough room with Blu-ray. Then how the hell do you think they'll have space for 360? Just let it go already, it's never going to happen. Like someone said, it would take a thousand discs. Your so close- minded... Holy sh*t guys, I have found something very interesting. Take a look at this pic of REX from MGS1. Pic Now, take a look at REX in MGS4. Pic Compare the two and find the differences. You can tell REX in MGS4 is missing a machine gun on the left side of the picture. Look at REX in MGS1 and he has it there. Now look at the circle object on REX from both pictures. In MGS4 it's damaged. Another thing, look at REX's left eyes in MGS4. It's also damaged a little bit up from the eyes. My point here is, we'll get to play in Shadow Moses! I can't f*cking wait people! Also, take a look at the new AU Review from IGN. Here. 9.5. UK Review IGN actually gave it a 9.9. Stupid, should of given it a 10. soleil Posted June 5, 2008 Share Posted June 5, 2008 About MGS4 on 360: I think Kojima said he saw MGS4 as a theater experience and so a theater-oriented device like the PS3 is where it belongs, and that he would take a DVD level game and bring that to 360. He said has other games planned for the 360. Kojima is about quality and pride in his product. Of course he wants to make money, but he isn't as willing as other creators to compromise quality for more money. I think Konami probably has the final say on a possible 360 port, but even Konami said Sony was good to them and that's why it's exclusive to Sony. I am betting that whatever games Kojima makes for the 360 won't appear on the PS3. They will be engineered for the 360's architecture and specs. Well You don't get the half of the plot or what's happening if You haven't played the games from the first MG. So You first better go to Metal Gear Wiki and read everything there is.
