I wanted him to maybe mentor someone and have the whole "The Boss + Big Boss" thing going on. He will spend his last days with Otacon and Sunny. But I really do think that Kojima-san should put Solid Snake to rest. But I think Kojima-san will still allow future directors to use Solid Snake, but he won't allow them to use him as a main character. Maybe we will see in a cameo or a small role. Mark Posted March 5, 2009 Share Posted March 5, 2009 Going back to Shadow Moses made the hairs on my back to stand up. The first Metal Gear for the PSX has always been my fav. Likewise. Running around all the old areas, the bit with the Nikita and the electrified floor, cyborg ninja flashbacks . Although I suppose most probably thought Rex vs Ray was a little OTT, I f*cking loved it. Never got to see that bit of Shadow Moses, plus pitting those 2 machines against each other was just epic. pyramid head Posted April 5, 2009 Share Posted April 5, 2009 If there's one minor thing that's annoying me its leaving the PS3 running and playing the waiting game to get the chicken emblem i'm suffering from withdrawal because i can't play fallout 3 (i need a second PS3) 11 hours to go before i get the chicken emblem among others. i'm also going for giant panda, frog, scarab, inch worm, tortoise and gecko. I'm going to try for the Big Boss emblem next. It looks pretty straight forward, 5 hours seems like a generous amount of timetoo. I've heard of people have finishing in under 4. Just switch auto aim on, buy a P90 because it's the best smg in the game. Get a load of ammo, upgrade it and during the bike chase all you gotta do is shoot. It's seriously fun just seeing everything getting killed by your p90 automatically especially those flying things. Anyway, the patriot is an epic gun and i'm pretty sure you would kick ass sh*t and everything that is in your screen if auto aim is on. Btw, is the bizon the chinese made gun? If it is, I suggest you use either the p90 or the patriot because it's attack is weak and less accurate. If i'm not wrong, the bizon is the one that you automatically get when you're on the bike right? If so, then the P90 is a better choice. If not, then i'm not sure. I'm not sure that stopping power really makes a difference on that particular act, since any weapon seems to kill the UAVs/Frogs within a couple of hits. Once you know exactly what to do, it's pretty easy (Haven't done it myself, though). Konami did a week of MGS announcements two weeks ago. I was hoping for trophies, but the only new thing they announced was a MGO Tournament. That's only open to U.S residents. And you need SCENE to play. The other things they 'announced' was MGS4 as a Greatest Hits game (Known for several months), MGS1 on the PSN (Was known for weeks beforehand, plus NA only), and a MGO map (But you need SCENE to use it), Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

What's stranger there is still rumours floating around of a possible patch to fix it. I can't see it happening, it would be awesome if they did though. Also online has never really interested me except the customization for your characters, everyones just way to good on it now for me to start playing. Hell No: Never seen that video before, i'm actually signed up there, only posted to ask about some MGO things. Was abit empty when i last visited aswel. Cyraxx Posted July 3, 2009 Share Posted July 3, 2009 I thought I might add that a good strategy for the part on the back of the motor bike with Big Mama you can use the sawn-off shotgun and buy non lethal ammo for it. It packs a pretty good punch and knocks out enemies in one shot, the only downside is that it's a little slow on the reload. Makes finishing the game non-lethally a bit easier. I'm kind of pissed, but don't really want to drive 40 minutes back to store to argue with lady over $10. So before I open it, My question is, does this game have any multiplayer or anything like that? And if it does not, does the game have any replay value or not? (I may have played MG2 back on NES .... but that was long long ago and I don't really remember much about it). But I'm glad to hear it has multiplayer. How long did this take you guys to download and play the on-line portion of the game? What is the multi-player aspect anyways? Is it a COD-type free-for-all?
