I was going to get this game today, but our Gamestop did not have it. I guess it takes a day or two more to get it over here in Hawaii

My favorite parts so far are when you get back to back with each other. Times slows down and you don't have to reload so you and your partner are slaughtering people left and right. The only thing that sucks about it though is that you can only do it at certain points in the game.

Yeah back-to-back is f*cking awesome, can't wait to do it with an actual person.

 

Anyway, just beat it with the AI. Decent length game, perfect for doing a co-op run. You'll need to play through it several times to afford all the guns anyway.

 

 

Edit: Just played the Versus mode. It's much more fun once you know what the f*ck you're supposed to do.

Just got it today, unfortunately I didn't get much time to play it, I'm only past the 1st real mission (The missile bunker one) but I'm really digging what I've played so far. My only gripe is that the partner AI can be a little stupid at times...i.e. I was down, and the bot was dragging me towards the bad guys, instead of into cover where he could heal me...We still made it out alive though

This game is f*cking awesome. I absolutely love it. The only mistake I made was beefing up the Shotgun instead of an automatic weapon, so I'm kind of up sh*t creek.

 

EDIT: Not to say the Shotgun is a bad weapon, but I didn't beef up any secondary or special weapons which really hurt me in the long run.

 

Also, the your AI partner is so goddamn intelligent. I was quite surprised. There's been maybe one or two instances where he f*cked something up or "glitched" in my four hours of playing.

Europeans have different versions of the game than Americans so if you send someone out of your region an invite, they get told to insert the disc for Army of Two, despite the fact they're already playing it.

 

f*cking horrible, the only people I know who have it are in Europe.

That f*cking sucks. I can't really say I play with Europeans too much though. I seem to get paired with mostly Americans and Canadians.

Aye it says in the EU manual, page 6, "NOTE: The online game modes in Army of Two are not cross-region compatible and is only supportrf between PAL discs".

 

For us we also get the EU next to the games title which is kinda stupid looking considering the game is the same. As TEOS said it's considered to be a different game. God knows what reason they've done it like this for.

 

BTW: Preorder with Game usually means you get it a day early.

This game has been nothing but a pain in the ass to locate.

I have been all up-and-down Miami searching for a store that has

any copies and so far I haven't had any sucess, even the rural Toys 'R Us had

been sold out. But, that's due to the fact that the store had only ordered three

copies...

 

 

Anyways, what's the gameplay like? I heard it has some techincal issues

in regards to glitches, AI, etc.

They could still patch it. Resistance Fall of man wasn't all regions when it was released. Insomniac released a patch later which added global support.....I am not exactly sure how they did it, but they did do it.....so if a lot of request it I think they just might do it.

Only thing I wish was you could upgrade your maximum ammo. I know you can get bigger mags, which therefore increase max ammo. But I would like to use the basic 30 round mags sometimes.

 

 

Also, although some of the customize options are really awesome, some have NONE. Such as the MP7 which is probably more versatile than all the rest and it doesnt have any customize options. No silencer, when it does have one, no extended magazine, when it actually DOES have one in real life, unlike other weapons which have them. No stock or grip, even though they are built onto the gun you should be able to select to open them out.

The M9 has only 8 rounds when obviously its 15 by default.

 

Also, even if it was only cosmetic changes, I am surprised there are no optics you can put on your gun despite what you saw in old screenshots.

 

Also more weapons would be nice. I was under the impression there was more than there is.

 

 

(Not to mention the HUGE pisstake, which is no cross region playing.)

I like to keep my aggro low and flank while the enemy is busy, so if I can find a partner with a garish gold plated machine gun, we can go places.

Army of two is one more game like this, without soul, made just to earn some money while peoples still want COOP buddy games. (Actually this game just Parasiting on success of Gears of War and R6 vegas).

Believe me, after EA will release Army of two 99 or Army of ninety nine , every one will hate COOP games because of EA, bcoz EA cannot stop just in rite time. EA actually forced peoples to have puke reflex when they playing World War II game... its all Medal of Honour and 5125 addons of MOH fault, bcoz of its unstoppable everyone just saying "oh no!!! no more WW2 game!!". Almost same thing with NFS (its almost only one Racing title for pc, most rivals just appearing on consoles only).

Same wit every game that EA touching.

I am glad I didn't decide to get this game, as awesome as it sounds, limiting to regions is a step backwards You guys should get some sort of compensation.. (as if that will happen)
