*MURDOC*
Once again, lookin' good, I applaud your efforts on turning a rather mundane, common ride into a one-of-a-kind monster, going all-out, and not half-assing it or making it simply a visual clone. Now take me for a drive!
-slash
I can remember thinking the drivetrain conversion part of this was never ever going to happen when you first posted the idea. Congrats on following through.
Lurch
Noticed this thing for sale on another forum. Had any bites on it?
BCspeed34
Nothing yet, seems a lot of people are put off by it being all sorts of different colors. The price is fairly spot on though, an Evo 5 conversion just sold for $20k. ________________________________________ 専車SODO-MOTO International Vehicle Importers
Lurch
Paint job just not in the budget at the moment? I think that thing would be a fairly quick sell all buttoned up and complete.
BCspeed34
Well I've got a lot of free time now, considering painting the entire car out of my garage. ________________________________________ 専車SODO-MOTO International Vehicle Importers

Lurch
Still keeping the OEM TM wheels or did you sell them on?
BCspeed34
I'm keeping them, going to have them restored at a wheel shop. ________________________________________ 専車SODO-MOTO International Vehicle Importers
Sup3rman
That looks really awesome, so much effort is paying off at the end. What color are going for?
Burbalade
This has come so far. And now you're almost there. I'm sure I'm not the only one that can't wait to see this done.
Lurch
The Volks would actually look quite a bit like the OEM Enkei's if you powdered them white. Depending on the size difference, they're probably lighter/not much heavier and quite a bit stronger. You going to be contacting some magazines after it gets painted? Try to get some press for all your hard work.
SRB
I agree with the magazine thing. How many of these even exist anymore. I don't think I've ever seen one in person. Maybe its a jersey thing.
Lurch
That's because real ones aren't 100% legal in the states until the 25 year mark. There was never much of any loopholes for them to come over like there were with Skylines (with the whole Motorex fiasco). *MURDOC*
