Not so easy to do this I think. BSP file contains only large areas. At first will be cool if we able to load that levels with texture mapping data and vertex colors (I tried to find that data but no luck)

I don't have PS2 but I think that formats very similar to PS2 CHK's and MDL's of GTA LCS/VCS.

It will be cool. Maybe It helps me to find mapping and Vcol data and maybe I will include to my importer PS2 and PSP support. smile.gif

Send me Level BSP file. I'm not found it in archive. TXD format on PS2 is similar to PC version but in PS2 it contains 4bit and 8bit bitmaps with swizzling (PC version uses DDS).

No, conversion only.

It is very difficult. Almost impossible. At least I don't know how to do that

But seeing as we can get the models into 3DS, then we can get them into GTA. Correct?

I also recently studied Manhunt 2.

I feel share format is most important.

Great work. I think the PS2 support for the import M2 levels will not be a difficult task.

smile.gif Good news! I have released first version of Manhunt2 BSP Importer (only with PC version support)

You can download it here: CLICK! and try it by yourself!

 

One important thing: You need to unZlib (Download THIS tool. Turn on 'Auto pointer search' and unpack level file.) BSP file before importing!

textures flipped is uv coord problem.

 

you can use:

 

tu = readfloat f * -1

or

tv = readfloat f * -1

 

just use one.

 

flip coordinates.

Added Manhunt dummy hierarchy support from MDL, but dummyes coordinates is not correct (i don't know, how fix it).

ну например можно конвертировать педов КАМом из второго Манхунта в первый. Иерахия и боны почти совпадают.

И когда произойдет релиз твоего мега-скрипта? Заметил галку PSP-version - твой скрипт работает с PSP-шными GTA и Manhunt и тоже грузит всю иерархию оттуда

Иерархия загружается независимо от платформы. Поддержка Манхунта PS2 - побочный функционал импортёра, так же как например импорт X-box-сных DFF. И там и там вместо треугольников используются тристрипсы, поэтому дополнительный импорт был реализован без проблем на основе существующего кода. Основной же - импорт моделей сториесов, когда он будет полностью дописан, тогда скрипт и будет выложен. Мне ещё нужно дописывать импорт WRLD сториесов и манхунта, а так же поддержку PSP (т.к. PSP версия ЛСС сильно отличается от PS2 версии).

 

The hierarchy is loaded, regardless of platform. Support Manhunt PS2 - the functional side of the importer, as well as import of X-box-waist DFF. And here and there instead of triangles used tristripses, so the additional import was realized without any problems on the basis of the existing code. The basic - import models of stories, when it is fully appended, and then the script will be posted. I still need to build upon import WRLD stories and manhunt, as well as support for PSP (PSP version because LSS is very different from the PS2 version).
