Question About Cover System

In one of the new hands-on magazine previews (PSM3 I think) it says that pressing R1 (RB on 360) is used to take cover behind objects. The part that caught my attention tbough is where it stated that by MOVING the camera to another piece of cover (such as a vehicle or wall), Niko would run and slide or forward roll to the new cover spot. It doesn't mention anything about moving the camera to a new cover spot AND then pressing the R1/RB button AGAIN to move Niko there.

So what if you are behind cover and in a heated battle and you are moving the camera around to find enemies and an enemy is near another piece of cover? Will Niko automatically go to that new piece of cover, or will you have to use R1/RB again to activate the change. I hope so because that could get quite frustrating.
