steveb07
Well i am playing SA for the 3rd time now and i am doing the Stowaway Mission or something like that from Toreno in which you have a bike and have to plant a bomb. Now my problem starts as soon as CJ hops on the bike. The screen goes like THIS The cut scenes work good and everything. I play the game normally except for the time when CJ goes on the bike. I have no prob if i don't start the mission. I tried patching the game - no result. Tried different combinations for the video options ingame - no result. I deleted the gta_sa.set - no result. i will even update my drivers if i get new ones
Bad~Boy#17
Do you have a legit copy of the game ?
Ryan
Did you download the game off of the internet or did you buy it?
steveb07
ofc. its my old copy bought from a retail store. i didn't have this problem before. it is weird that it happens only at 1 mission
Ryan
Do you have any mods installed? If so reinstall the game then try the mission. If not just try reinstalling the game anyway. Make sure you save your save files first though.
steveb07
I have some cars that i manually installed (5-6) to be correct. Do you think that could be the problem? i will reinstall and see anyway
0mfg0rz
If it's not mods like ryan suggested, You could try deleting you .set file located in C:\Documents and Settings\<WINDOWS_LOGON_NAME>\My Documents\GTA San Andreas User Files @Ryan: I don't think you lose your save games when you un-install/re-install the game @steveb07 Back your saves up anyway ^_^. hanzibal
strange cuz the light changes completely, even the map, but he icons in the top right corner are OK.. very weird... what version you have? try (instead of patching) downgrading, maybe it'll help, otherwise, I have no clue... Ryan
Glad you got it fixed. The reason I had said to make copys of your save files was becasue I couldn't remember if they got deleted when you installed the game.
hanzibal
glad to see you got it working (actually I didn't see, I heard, but never mind) still strange why it happened save games do NOT get lost when de-installing or re-installing a game, cuz there not in the game but in your documents folder
