hevey5 Posted February 9, 2008 Share Posted February 9, 2008 As we all know the GTA series is well known for the brilliant soundtracks they produce, which seem to capture the decade in which the games are set and also provide a background for escaping the police, mowing down innocent pedestrians or just for cruising around the city. No matter what year, whether its the coke sniffing 80s or the gansta 90s Rockstar achieve a soundtrack that capture the moment perfectly. In the GTA IV trailers we have heard The Boggs, Phillip Glass and Seryoga. The new GTA soundtrack is apparently "modern and suits the mood perfectly". The first track confirmed was "Sorrow Tears and Blood" by Fela Kuti" Any thoughts as to what else might be on the soundtrack or what you would want on the soundtrack? It seems that no matter what the theme is, there seems to be much more rap and R&B. 18 stations this time around and we know 1 is Russian themed. They need to toss in more classical, jazz, alternative, and an ambient type of soundtrack when NO music is playing. Like an actual soundtrack instead of radio stations. Then again odds are i'll be importing my own tracks anyway. After a while no matter how huge the soundtrack is I seem to get tired of it. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
