Xbox has the Xbox Live Marketplace where you can download demos and movies an3D GTA game and I wouldn't want them either, it'll take the shine off the first time I play GTA IV. You get to start the game, see the opening cutscene, walk for two minutes and just as you reach your destination: "Your time has expired, please purchase the game." You can do demos for sports games and stuff, but it just wouldn't work as well with GTA. Rockstar knows by now that whatever they sell, people will buy. Ottae Posted February 9, 2008 Share Posted February 9, 2008 GTA1 had next to no cinematics and a very loose storyline which meant you could jump straight in and do non-sequential missions. GTA IV has an indepth storyline and no-doubt a lot of cutscenes which means the demo would only make you feel disapointed because you want to play more. They don't release beta versions and demos like no one's business so by the time you've got the game, you've already played most of the game. Rockstar keep quiet about the game, releasing as little detail as possible (this game is different, I admit) so when you play it, it's a completely new experience.
