gravs Posted February 9, 2008 Share Posted February 9, 2008 (edited) Sorry if all these circles are confusing but basically just notice that the first pic is being taken from on top of the empire state building and you can see the most northern bridge circled in red and on the map. I also circled the other two visible bridges to show where they are in the picture in relation to the map. The building circled in grey in the first picture is almost next to the z shaped bridge circled in green. In the third picture down you can see where that grey building is in relation to the rest of algonquin which shows us how big the island that the picture is being taken from is. In the last picture I circled the chrysler building and then if you look at the first picture again you can see what the last picture does not show. It shows you that they didn't even put the smaller islands on the map so it will be even larger than it looks by the map. That's a nice view from the top of that building, I hope we'll be able to walk around on top of it. Also, Bohan in the distance looks like it might have trees. Btw. that's the Chrysler building.. and if you mistook it for Empire State it might've seriously skewed your conclusion. Posted February 9, 2008 Share Posted February 9, 2008 Very good find, I never knew that it was going to be that big and the far spread from each tower, If it is going to be only 75% of San Andreas, I'm sure it will be much better city-wise seeing as there is no useless baron wasteland to just take up space. I still have this creeping feeling that the "indoor areas" won't be as spectacular as we're all thinking them up to be though. I remember how psyched I was hearing about the indoors to Vice City.... and that was a pretty massive let down. Same thing for San Andreas. You could go in, but nothing was really in there. Maybe the airport runway goes alongside it or something? But then isn't the airport in Dukes? I very much look forward to finding out. Alderney as a whole is still somewhat of a mystery to us...
