GoldenJoel
I've been seeing a lot of graffiti in screens of GTA, and I think its a subject that should really have a more influence on the world then just pretty pictures. And I personally think graff is an essential part of NYCs culture, and so should it be for Liberty. As any graff artist knows, scenery changes with the different pieces that are put up, tagged over, buffed, repeat. It'd be great to see that sort of politics in the world, maybe even seeing NPCs writing on walls, being chased by cops, stopping the train you are on to tag it, etc. I know you could tag gangland territory in San Andreas, but that's rarely what graffiti is about. I doubt Nico would have a need to use spraypaint, but I'd like to see a deeper part to it. What you guys think?

Mafioso86
yeah it would be cool... though I don't see it happening... maybe in a future game tho
BulletproofShooter
This is GTA, not Marc Ecko's "Getting Up". But seriously though, some graffiti I can see as art and some of it is pretty good, but as for other kinds, it just really bums me out to see something defaced by graffiti, you know? Well I have this 'friend' and he writes graffiti... and when I do.... I mean when he does , he's considerate about where he puts it. If its behind a shopping center... why not? But any tagger who's not an asshole isn't going to tag statues and monuments and landmarks and stuff.
SovietWarrior42
Some graffiti can be pretty nice. Since I live in an out of the way town, the only graffiti I see is on the side of trains. Some of it is pretty amazing, makes you wonder how someone could do that in such a short amount of time. Then you see the crappy graffiti, the kind that looks like San Andrea's. Maybe one of the missions you'll work for a tagger.
gtathebest4ever
nah, doesn't fit niko's character, he looks like he doesn't have time between all those shootouts and staying alive and stuff.

There are writers rules and if you break them you will get lined and disrespected etc. Graffiti is a fantastic part of urban culture. And its presence in GTAIV is both nessecary and important for realism. However wirters are generally careful about when they put up and whos around and so to see it should be VERY rare. Also Niko just doesnt fit the bill as a griffiti artist adn so should avoid it.
OH NO
Yeah ive been thinking about the graf in LC for a while. Doubt itll be a major part of the game but it would be a nice easter egg or summin to catch a few writers putting something substantial up, maybe spot somebody chucking up a few tags. Shouldnt be too obvious tho. You dont tend to to see graffiti artists at work. We move like the wind... and blend into the night wow your cool . There are writers rules and if you break them you will get lined and disrespected etc. Some kid up my ways tagged a gravestone recently, it was all over the local papers. What a twat. Tars us all with the same brush.

PeaceDude
Definately needed to add to the realism, but Niko just doesn't look like a tagger, but on the other hand, we don't really know anything about him, and you can't judge a book by it's cover. There was some nice graf in sa.The ones you got to do your self was just bombing/tagging,and they was pretty dull. But there was some nice murals and throw ups around.
