H4milton
First of all, want 2 know about the options in a graphics card. Anti-Aliasing,Triple Buffering, pixel shader, hardware T&L, memory, video ram. My graphics card is ATI RADEON X1050. It supports pixel shader 2. Some games runs fine on my graphics card. On nfs u,u2 and most wanted motion blur option is affective but in nfs carbon it is locked. though my drivers are installed i see flickering screens in every game.so i want 2 change my graphics card, i heard about ati hd2900 and nvidia 8800. Which one would be better.
Brutuz
The ATI HD3870 is a good Graphics Card, and nVidia is launching its 9*00 series soon. But, do you have PCIe or AGP?
ChooseAGoodOne
I personally think the 8800 is the way to go, recently I just got my MSI Geforce 8800GT 512MB, It's easy to install, this card has worked perfectly ever since! No problems - all settings are easy to adjust. really cool.

NeoSNightmarE
mmm, 9 series from Nvidia. That's fantastic. I just grabbed my 8500GT a few months ago, but have been debating between upgrading the AMD64 3500+ and getting another vid card. So depending on the specs, might finally get my answer. Rocketkiller
How about the specs of the rest of your computer? A good video card would be useless if everything else is crap.
Yatesyz
I'm guessing the 9 series will be extreamly expensive. But i might be wrong..
Brutuz
I'm guessing the 9 series will be extreamly expensive. But i might be wrong.. The top of the line ones will be, but the 9600GT is just a little slower than the 8800GT and is fairly cheaper, not to mention cooler running. (Google it, there's reviews now)
Bad~Boy#17
nVidia is better
Brutuz
nVidia is better Actually, ATI is right now, nVidia's new cards are just their older ones rehashed, not even with a die shrink. (The 9800GTX is just a G92 die, the same as the 8800GT) I want to see ATI's HD4000 series.
SyphonPayne
Being an 8800GT owner myself, I can say that it's an awesome card to get if you want a good price/performance ratio.
Democrab
Best bang for buck = ATI HD3850 or nVidia 8800GT.
