Davitt10 Posted February 10, 2008 Share Posted February 10, 2008 My Observations.... The article begs a few questions....to clarify.... 1. Major collisions on motorbikes cause the helmet to fall off. You can see it fall onto the ground...Does Niko lose his helmet (in major collisions) while he is still on the bike or off it? If it is while he is off it, does this mean the bike is unrideable? OR, if he can get back on it and ride it, does Niko pick the helmet back up and put it on again? 2. Heavy fire will scar - and permanently destroy - parts of the environment....How permanent? For the length of the mission? For 24 hours? A week? or the entirety of the game? LOL...what's the deal with McReary's name? At first it was McReary. Then, during the online previews, IGN wrote that "McReary" was wrong and that it was REALLY McGreary. This mag article says it's McCreary. Yet, the new R* GTA4.com site has him as "McReary" (what it was originally). LOL. Dan Houser states Niko's past catches up with him at a key point in the game and he has to decide what he wants to do. He wouldn't elaborate any more on this. It took the author 10 real-time minutes to travel the east coast of Algonquin island in a powerboat. There are some small issues with the auto-targeting system, density of materials (a railing that an enemy was behind seemed to be bullet-proof when it shouldn't have been), and pop-in (slight). We don't know if these are just limited to the PS3 or they affect the Xbox 360 as well. Oh...and 18 radio stations. Wow! 10- real minutes? In an online preview they said 5 minutes.. Those magazine reporters should buy a stopwatch, they said it would take an hour to drive to the top of mount chiliad in the previews of gta sa. 5 minutes to get halfway and 10 minutes to reach the other side Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
