SovietWarrior42
Cool, I guess. Puts things in perspective a bit better. The skyline picture is just amazing, looks damn near real.

Finest
"there not in the game thats why. And The statue of happyness is coloured in red on the map" Randalls and Roosevelt Islands are in the game. In the new video (I think for the phone) the first image is of a top view of midtown and part of the east river, right at the bottom you can see the whole view of randalls island right under the triborough bridge. In another video (the third trailer) a helicopter flies by roosevelt island, you can see the lighthouse and shape of the tip of the island. Under the algonquin bridge in some shots you can also see parts of rossevelt island and you can see the tram cables and the tram itself.

FelipeVinhao
R* said it's 3/4 size of SA. But it's massively filled by a city. Just put together Los Santos, San Fierro, Las Ventures and all country towns, without the open areas, and you see that it's San Andreas that is 3/4 of Liberty, and not the opposite. Finest
yeah if you ask me LC has more playable area than SA. In SA you had 1/4 of san fierro island that was useless (fun to roam around for a few minutes but the same boring thing) and the desert and border around Las Venturas Island was useless (the desert was fun sometimes, but the sand mountain border was a waste of a lot of room) and all the country side north of Los Santos was REALLY useless. There were so many roads that you ran into and cars on them that it didnt even give you the real feeling of being alone in a desert or countryside. Jayt001
They said in PSM3 that a ride in a powerboat down the east side of algonquin took 10 mins real time. No doubt that LC is gonna be huge.

So, I guess that would be 20-25 minutes in a boat from Alderney to Broker/Dukes.

I mean if i want to get from one side to another, I don't want to have to waist bloody 20 minutes getting across. I dunno what you think?
gta_wu-gangsta
Dukes looks really extended to the right compared to Broker. In my opinion it looks like some sort of coutry side. The topic starter outlined the portion that I'm talking about in pink. So take a look yourself and tell me what you think. I really hope we have some sort of countryside. It really does look a bit vast. However, I thought Dukes was going to be the ghetto of the city, but I could be wrong. Also, it might be the camera angle on that one. We can't really make too much out of it yet. In real life, it's not full ghetto. The northern part is nicer, and has apartments and housing. The Western Part is more industrial, and less nice (across from manhattan). The Southern Part is Ghetto (not the full southern part). The map actually looks really good, but i just wish they filled more of that space with Broker. I just want to tell ya that I am from Queens and I´m not living in a ghetto !!! The only REAL ghetto i no (in Queens) is Queensbridge (i hope they will put it in)
