[-Vice-Andreas-]
crux989 - no, tanks etc are not 'fantasy' vehicles, but are fantasy in the sense that they are only there for us to toy around with, and serve no actual real purpose or benefit for the player Parachutes on the other hand, would benefit immensely in a game like GTA4 where the main focus in the map's design is in height! Also... Jetpacks are a little bit fantasy... like, how often do you fly around on a Jetpack in real life? Once a day? Twice? They are just 'toys'. Parachutes are tools. Until you add parachutes in the list. Than it means nothing. Why are you exclaiming a point I already agree with? I dont use jetpacks ever. I also dont fly helicopters. Or toss grenades outside my window. Or gun down local thugs. Or destroy half a city block with an army sized arsenal at exposal. You can argue vocabulary all you want. A tank is a tool of destruction. A plane is a means transportation. A jetpack is a marvel of aviation. Its whatever you feel like calling it and itll still be right given reason. In the end it doesnt matter, because it still doesnt explain anything.
sattizahn
Why are there threads arguing the existence of things that no one will know for another 2 months? That's like a virgin saying he knows what sex feels like ....no they don't......
Eddie280
I will be really disapointed if they are not included because i can think of very few things im as excited about as being able to basejump of the Empire State building. That would be amazing.
tld
The game press wouldnt have had time to jump out of a heli with a parachute so If theyve confirmed it I wouldnt believe it only from R*

lomas661
i think they will have them in because doesnt brucie run a helicopter taxi service? and it would be pretty cr*ppy if you could only use the service to get to helipads rather than going anywhere and diving out
Hodgey.
I thought parachutes in SA was a great addition, im pretty pissed they have took them out, but hey what can we do i still have faith in though.

JayD225
I really don't think parachutes will be in GTA IV. Many people in New york have recorded themselves jumping off The Empire State Building and the Twin Towers in the past. I think it would been fun to jump off skyscrappers to escape from the cops. My opinion!

SovietWarrior42
The tank is one of the best vehicles in GTA, how can they just take it out? :|
FiendishDog
Parachutes would be cool, especially with euphoria, but I live near NYC and it not everyday I see people base jumping off buildings. Rockstar was aiming for realism and thats probably what we're gonna get
