Other than graphics(similarities) cars: - Have breakable glass. -tires can go flat/be popped. -each car can drive like it's real-world counterpart. -cars have to be started(if parked) -cars have to be hotwired(if parked) -the trunks work!!! -cars can break down. -cars can(still) explode! -Niko has to break a window...just to shoot from it! -Niko also has to break the window to steal, or hijack a vehicle from a driver. -for some vehicles, Niko has to wear a helmet or maybe a seat belt(maybe!) -they have GPS systems, about 3 different kinds! And one that can talk! -cop cars have computers. -cops and maybe peds can recognize your vehicles. -bullet holes show, and glass breaks realisticly when shot. -You may Still! be able to mod vehicles!! -and you can use them for cover... I'm NOT saying "O! Niko can't do anything", and I know the game is called "gtA, But I wish Niko could do more than his car can. Feel free to add stats about Niko if you wan't. p.s. He's the one who'll be starting the car. He's the one who will drive the car. And he's the one who will pop the car's damn tire...so, no. Everything in the game will be equally "real" -cars can(still) explode! Niko can explode, he has to hold a cooked grenade and wait for it to blow up -they have GPS systems, about 3 different kinds! I assume that there are 3 different cars that can have GPS. 3- I would like Niko to be able to hold ppl HOSTAGE! And 4 - I do think all were facts or soon to be confirmed. Any more? Niko can hang off the back of moving vehicles & the heli 3. Niko can possibly put bodies in trunks ( speculation from seeing trailer) 4. Niko has an arsenal of different fighting styles 5. Niko can hail a Taxi 6. Niko has a cellphone he uses 7. Niko can shoot pool, bowl, darts 8. Niko can climb telephone poles 9. Niko can open doors with his hands 10. Niko can climb ladders 11. Dude, the reason it may seem more care has been taken into making the cars better is because what the hell can you really do to Niko? There are a lot of things you can do to the cars in the game but most stuff you do to Niko would be useless stuff that has no impact on the gaming. Yeh we can make it so that Niko has a bladder bar that fills up over time and forces you to go pee behind trash cans, but why does it matter. It's good but for years you couldn't do things you could do in other games. Like Hostages(Getaway), Fighting "skills"(Warriors), robbing banks and stores(Saints Row and Kane and Lynch) Keep up the intelligence please. I think the main problem with this post is that to compare Niko and a car on screen shots alone, is madness. i suspect when you see the euphoria engine actually working, your opinion will change. The cars do look good but the main feature of Niko is the said euphoria engine. I think when we read about how Niko walks, runs and interacts in the previews, we don't really imagine how powerful this will be, seeing bullets holes in a car does looks stunning but seeing Niko covering and scrambling behind it when its being shot, will be much more Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
