Effy in Chains
I want to see Super Famicom Wars on Xbox Live Arcade with online multiplayer added! Notice the General who looks like Hitler? Unfortunately Nintendo probably wouldn't let Xbox 360 have it, and there's no way I'm buying a Wii. Raindancer
Alex kid was a great game, Would have to be Skool Daze This game has it all! It's probably the most accurate simulation of a school (or at least an idyllic and thoroughly rose-tinted version of school that leaves out all the nasty bits) that there ever has been or ever will be. It forsakes the modern problems of teenage pregnancy and random slayings in the cloakrooms for a innocent view of the past when the only things to fear where the school bully, the lurgy and possibly being caught out of class. In this scenario you play Eric, a typically rogue-ish pupil who's performance in class has been slightly worse than that of Arnold Swartzenegger in Shakespeare's The Tempest. Unlike our Austrian friend though this hasn't netted him in excess of twenty- million dollars but has actually resulted in his school report containing enough damning marks to ensure that should his parents ever get wind of it his bottom will get quite literally the spanking of a lifetime. So what to do? The obvious answer is to buy a large box of chocolates for his mum and dad and a pair of titanium arsed trousers just in case it doesn't wash with them, but Eric comes up with the far more surreal idea of replacing his report with a fake one. CLASSIC!!!

Starion
Does Half-Life count? Someones already doing it. Black Mesa: Source, it's a mod for Half Life 2, and it's a remake for Half Life 1. I think it looks pretty good: And me, I would like to see Halo 1 remade on the Halo 3 engine. It would outclass 3 by miles. mod it with Nitrous Oxide and chassis dyno. original gangster
I can't think of any game that needs to be remade. There's a few very old classics I wouldn't mind seeing it happen to, but I'm not too fussed about it. At one point I thought it'd be cool if TESII: Daggerfall was remade, but there'd be so much change and cutting down on things that it'd end up destroying it, so nah. What would be good is if Beth made a new version of it for download - make it work on XP without having to use DOSBox, fix a load of the damn bugs and give it a slight graphical update. But that'll never happen. I wouldn't say no to remakes of the first two Metal Gear games though. Not the Solid games. I'm talking about the first two top-down ones before Metal Gear Solid.
