Deuce Deuce
i hate gta4 signatures 5. that could be made in paint. Even so, you shouldn't judge (I'm not saying you are) someone's piece of work based on the theme of it, rather than the actual design and effort put into it. That said, I have to agree in that I'm not really drawn in by it; it's just very basic. I'd scrap the text and add at least a border.

I'm thinking about getting Corel Draw...I was using the trial version to make my signature but it expired before I finished But yeah I am going to scrap the text for something that fits a little more...How do I make an invisible background so it's not just a square though? Like yours? I probably need some software for that huh?
EasyTiger
It's nice, but a bit simple, and even if you want it to be simple, it could look a little bit cleaner. For example, using a different font, that one looks like the default word font. Or maybe make it smaller, you won't notice the space as much. Ottae
i have photoshop , i don't use it , it suck, get ArcSoft PhotoStudio ... PM me if you want If you think Photoshop sucks, you obviously don't know how to use it. It can't 'suck' if the world's industry uses it. It's not a bad sig, I like the originality of the border, bit different to your average 1 pixel stroke. I think you could do with making the gradient in the font a bit more subtle, spreading it out across the text a bit more. @GTAvanja - Don't hijack Edited February 11, 2008 by Ottae

I just cut the pic of Niko out, pasted it ontop of the original image later and took away sections of the background, finally adding the big fat border. If you have Photoshop, learn to use it, it'll save all the bullsh*t you come up with in GIMP, in the long run.

NinjaJones
What about now? I plan on making the IV a little more transparent so don't judge it based on that...also keep in mind that I don't have photoshop so I had to make this in MS paint. GTAdedan
looks better to me, if you just make the IV logo a bit better than it would make a nice sig
Deuce Deuce
It is still pretty simple.. but better than the old one to say the least. Would be nice if you used the actual IV logo, though.

Yeah I just made a quick one to see what it looked like and i'm using it as a place holder for now EDIT: OK i've changed the IV to the black version which looks better in my opinion...I want to use the whole logo and make it transparent and possibly put it in the middle but I have to wait until I get photoshop to do that. For now though I think it looks pretty good for something done in MS paint... And by the way your signature is awesome! 16 Roses
I think it's pretty decent for MS paint (trust me, I've seen some really bollocks sigs made in paint) But I definitely would reccomend you get some better software if you are interesting in graphics. Naturally I would reccomend Photoshop, but there is also Macromedia Fireworks, GIMP (free), Paintshop Pro and a bunch of others.

It will take longer getting used to it than any other program, but in the long run, and once you learn to use all of its uses correctly, it becomes the easiest and most effecient way of producing quality images.
