small thought

R* should include license plate system designer. Just like in True Crime, about the only cool feature. So you create any plate for any of your cars, maybe they charge you too.

A small feature that may not matter to some, but theres so many little things in GTA IV that appear to be making it just not any game, not even just any GTA, but a totally evolved game aswell as evolved GTA.

Mildly fun but utterly useless and a waste of space in the end...I mean they could put in a new car in the game for the space it would take to add in a "custom plates" shop...

What if it's possible number plates can fall off?

It's an OK idea but I wouldn't hold your breath.

i agree with you on that one. I would rather see something else in although i don't hate the idea. As far as we know there are no numbers on lisence plate according to the screenshots so don't get your hopes up.

There will be. On the later stuff you can see "Liberty City" written on the license plates. In the final game they'll probably all have individual numbers.

^^^^^

That doesn't mean that you can make custom ones though.

I never said you couldn't make custom ones. confused.gif

Doubt it. Anyway Im assuming there will be some sort of garage in the game, so itll take up hardly any extra memory at all.

Custom license plates? What'll they come up with next- standing in line at the DMV to get said plates? I guess the question is, would customizable plates truly add to the game experience? For me, that answer is no.

Well neither would putting working telescopes by the Statue of Happiness, but they still did.

Perhaps switching/creating new plates will be a method of losing heat on your vehicle? Just a thought.
