FenderUsa
Do you think it will return like it did in GTAIII, obviously it was'nt on VC and SA because they were set quite a while before GTAIII. But GTA IV is set in 2008 so it could be there? hopefully because its an awesome song Edited February 7, 2008 by FenderUsa

OptimumPx
Each GTA game had it's own theme song, so no one was the 'official' song. Why would they want to use the GTA III one again? It would be much better to make a new one. Unless you're talking about Joyride by Da Shootaz, which was an awesome song and I would love to be on one of the radio stations again....but not as the main game theme. Jayt001
yes thats what i'm talking about! the theme from GTA 1 Ooooooh, yeah now that would fit, not as the title music but on the radio lol. I thought you meant something else.
OptimumPx
yes thats what i'm talking about! the theme from GTA 1 No, the title theme from GTA 1 was called Gangster Friday according to this website. It was written and preformed by Craig Conner, who wrote Joyride (titled 'Grand Theft Auto' in the game)....but Joyride wasn't the main theme. A lot of people seem to think it is, but it seems that it isn't.

ceedot
Just answer the guys question, instead of f*cking up his topic. All the GTA's had a theme, and were placed in the initial loading screen. I'm sure GTA IV will have one.

T.I.P.
By theme song do you mean an instrumental, or an actual song?
NinjaJones
ok, better? No, you forgot to capitalise the first letter of the firt word of your sentence. And the apostrophe goes in between 'n' and 't' like this "wasn't" to take the place of the letter/s that aren't there anymore. On topic though I think that GTA IV will have a different theme song, maybe one of the songs from a trailer? The song from trailer 3 really fits the game, I think... Jr. Young
As people have said, that track was in the original GTA and GTA III. I don't listen to that type of music all that much, but I would like them to include that (in one way or another) again in GTA IV...if only for tradition's sake. It was in the original, it reappeared in GTAIII and now it should turn up again. It's tradition. And as for the opening theme of the game? I was thinking of something a little different: Silence, apart from the sounds of the people and the cars have the credits go by in silence. mcgriz
The GTA theme song is "Grand Theft Auto/Joyride" performed by Da Shootaz, as far as I'm concerned. I don't care what song was on the bloody loading screen, they're all different and new to each GTA. I know this song wasn't in VC or SA, but as it has already been said they were set before the other GTA's and I think it would be a nice inclusion to GTA IV, perhaps on a particular radio station that plays a little bit older music.
