ThaBear
I know i've seen a topic about breaking glass when you're driving to be able to shoot out of the window, but I can't find it anymore. And I'm sorry if the thing I'm about to post has already been discussed, then please close it and give me a link I see everyone is excited about Niko being able to break the glass with his elbow while driving, but there's one thing I don't understand about it: Why doens't he just lower the window by pushing a button? It might take a second longer (might be the reason of course), but then you don't end up being chased by the cops because of the missing glass... Or will he be able? I hope so, I actually can't imagine that Rockstar didn't think of this, but you never know...

ThaBear
Lol yeah But then I could name quite a lot of other things And for me GTA is all about rolling down windows, I would be very disappointed if it's not in GTA IV, I think I'm not buying the game if it isn't.. Jayt001
Maybe sometimes he will just roll it down; the old fashioned way of getting a nice bit of fresh air in your hair. Maybe there are different animations for it, like they said about pinching a car? Maybe sometimes, if it's a nice day the window will already be down? Maybe sometimes, if Niko has a sore elbow, he will push the button? I don't know, we will have to wait another.... 81 days.

It would make a little bit of sense if the nice cars he rolled down the windows but either then that i guess he just doesn't give a sh*t about tthe car and he wants to be caught by the police
ThaBear
And maybe something goes terribly wrong and the game won't be released at all.

ceedot
I think it's basically older cars that will have breaking windows, while luxury cars will have automatic windows. If you need time to shoot, I doubt rolling down the window is something he would care about, if the cars not even his.
willgtavcs
i thought in most GTA's the windows are already down. So maybe it is the wind screen
GTASIX
What if you have a really nice car. You wouldnt want to smash the window.
