I'm having a hard time dealing with the fact that most GTAs either end with a Mystery, or have no real "Ending" at all. For example: Who was shot at the end of 3, and where did Donald Love(Trump) go? R* said "virtually" no past characters would return. What does "virtually" mean in a Videogame!? Does this mean that only past voice actors will return(maybe to play different characters) like Lazlow? Since Lazlow is "virtually" a past character, I see no problem with bringing back others. Lets face it, "virtually" is a little vague, therefore it's not totally ridiculous to suggest a return from one the smaller characters from a previous game, if not one of the protagonists, Tommy Vercetti FTW!!! I don't expect them to re-create the old characters into next-gen models, but some references to the past (This game is set in 2008) that acknowledges what happened for past characters would be nice. I think that's quite a good idea, just little references, i can actual hear the peds in my head right now lol. Only heard during Diablo based missions on a pay phone. Maybe this is what they mean by "virtually"? I'm not going to write off that there will no mentions of past GTA characters just yet though. Well technically they are all "virtual" since it's a videogame. Think about it, what roackstar are really saying is, every single "virtual" character in history, will feature in GTA: IV, including sonic, mario etc...
