jonny__27 Posted February 6, 2008 Share Posted February 6, 2008 I started learning how to use zmodeler a few time ago, and i began modelling with sometihng more basic to get used to it. for a start, i installed again my gta3 and tried modifying the old kuruma. after some failed tries, i managed to get it working without any big problem. (ok, the modifications are very basic, but i think it's good for a start) basically i just lowered the bumpers, stretched the sides to create side skirts and added an object below the exhaust tip. I still can't add textures to the objects i create, but i will try to fix this and improve my skills so i can make some better modelling. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Picolini Posted February 7, 2008 Share Posted February 7, 2008 Well, as far as model editing goes, you've done about as much as you can do. Modeling is what you should do, as in laying out polygons and making your own objects, and parts, then eventually your own cars. Of course it takes time, and as you've said you're new to it. I'd suggest looking through tutorials, not sure if there's any for Zmod other than the ones you can get from the zmodeler2.com site. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
