phs1234
GTA4 will be a fantastic game, but it probably won't be perfect. Through the glossy shine of the new physics, graphics, etc, some problems will probably show through. What problems that we've seen from previous GTA's do you think will affect IV? YourNeighborhoodKiller
Possibly some glitches and not running smoothly is my worst fear. Edited February 7, 2008 by YourNeighborhoodKiller

Capricornus
We'll probably see cars appear on the street out of the blue, and even disappear, like in the past GTA's. But I doubt it, for the most part.
gamefarter
I don't know. But do you guys think we will be able to push cars like in the previous games? I hope so. I didn't like that you couldn't do it in saints row. What do you all think? Sorry, but this was not worth it's own topic, so I asked it here. GTA3Freak-2001
There will be some issues I imagine, when you make a game on the scope that Rockstar does you can't avoid the gremlins popping up. It shouldn't be anything game breaking I hope, you never know though.

4doora
All past gta games had their "quirks" I'd only call it a problem if it somehow interrupted game play that being said, i don't think there is a need to worry about problems
D- Ice
Lol thses are personal dislikes of mine, but most you will actually think they a good thing. I'm not too sure about all those people you kill - it's just getting ridiculous now that in every mission outing you single-handedly dispose of 20 gangsters - even if you are an ex-Baltic military Black Op. It gives no value to human life. I mean I understand it is just a game for fun, but I guess I'm the kind of person who prefers being moved by guilt rather than just mowing down a Triad crowd like ants, but thats just me. Second, I hate how they implied you wont be getting wanted levels for shootouts during missions. I much prefer a bigger infusion of missions and free-roaming where missions don't have any specialities - especially with something as important as wanted levels - over normal free-raoming. Hopefully what they mean will happen is the cops will come, but not just chase you exclusively, but also start arresting and chasing the Triads in this case. I would love it if for example you kill one or two of them after a fierce five-minute gun battle, then the police come. You hide you gun and hide in some corner while they start engaging the triads - payback for all the times in previous GTA's where they only come after you in a gunfight with gangsters. Random8
I try not to think about this stuff But I guess we might still see the occasional Ped repeatedly bumping into a wall or object. With Euphoria at work it might not happen, but that is something I have seen in every GTA game, including LCS and Vice City Stories.
Jobbie
I think there will always be glitiches unless there is an open beta or something but im not tat botherd about them and they will prob be so rear that you will never really notice or come across them. As for it no running smooth, I wouldnt worry because im sure that R* wouldnt release a game that will drop below 60fps. That maybe be the cause of the delay. So i dont see any real probs

CryptReaperDorian
I'm sure some people are going to complain about the aiming, even though its been vastly improved according to Rockstar. I know what you mean. People complained about SA's aiming system, it was a lot better than VC's aiming. You were able to use both auto and manual aiming with most guns and when you crouch behind a car or barrier you were actually able to shoot above the barricade or car's hood a lot easier than in VC. Also, SA's aiming was quite accurate too. The Manhunt style aiming (that is what they used in SA except in Manhunt the aiming reticule would become white and separate when an object or wall was in the way) should stay I hope. It makes more sense, and its in a closer view so that you can see better details of your enemy being shot by your gun.

All I know is that you can now aim with projectiles like grenades. It's similar to Resident Evil 4. It goes from third person GTA View to a closer version of Niko's upper body. It's also a lot like gears of war. I'm sure it'll do a lot better but the only disadvantage is not being able to see all the enemies around you. You'll most likely focus on one or two guys in the close up motion. Edited February 7, 2008 by Carbine23

Jayt001
There won't be any glitches in IV, i'm on the QA team, we've found every bug, honestly. IV is ready for the launch, we just wanted to play it for a while before releasing it to you guys, we're nice like that. We keep messing about on the online, I always play as Elizbeta, stupid Dan houser always picks Niko first, prick. But seriously of course there will be bugs, but I think they'll just be small insignificant ones, nothing major that would ruin the game thats for sure. Plus even this little bugs will get ironed out over time, through XBL and PSN. Thats the beauty of having next gen consoles where you can update the games with patches and such like. NinjaJones
Well the main glitch i'm hoping is gone is when you get in a high speed wreck the damage appears on the wrong side of the car (like I get rear ended and my hood crumples and there is no rear damage) But i'm confident that that is fixed with the new crash system
Quadropheniac90
I just hope wanted levels and missions aren't separated. It would be rather weird to be killing people all over the place when not in a mission and getting a wanted level, and not have the same thing happening when on a mission. Also, the cops shouldn't just go after Niko. Other than that, maybe some minor stuff that's not too annoying.
