Ronnyboy Posted February 5, 2008 Share Posted February 5, 2008 After reading about the police system, said to myself, "Thats sound like The Scarface Game" So I put it in and I played it and its an exact rip from the game. Also, with mission redos from your phone also is a steal from The Scarface Game, with that you could redo any mission ingame from the start menu. Darrel Posted February 5, 2008 Share Posted February 5, 2008 Scarface had a unique system, that's why the guys at Rockstar have taken it and probably improved on it. And that's acceptable. After all, they can do what they like since they arguably started it all. You cannot expect them to create unique, upon unique ideas and not take hints from other games. He was simply stating that Rockstar have used ideas from Saints row. For example the GPS system. Although I'm sure Rockstar would have thought of this themselves anyway. Saints Row2 is in the making, why even bother? you can garuantee those rockstar boys will take the mic out of saints row like they did with true crime (true grime) even though i thought the first true crime game was decent but GTA ownes all i guess...no i know! SR took 75% of R*'s humor (or tried to) and %80 of the game in general. Anyway I don't really see the connection between Scarface and GTA IV. Sure the poilce system may seem to be the same but Scarface probably isnt even the first to do that. Also redoing missions from the phone and redoing missions from the start menu are not the same. A LOT of other games let you redo missions from the start menu....so what? @secksyjames: wow dude, how old are you? Vice city was pretty much a revamped version of the scarface movie.
