Multiplayer servers

So, are there going to be dedicated servers for online gaming? Or a player will host?

 

I prefer dedicated all the way, much better connection, no lag. Did R* say anything about it? Also did they give any more information regarding online play? (I've lost some episodes.)

I REALLY hope they are dedicated, but also self private as well. I hate having noob servers like in Pro Street, where it's all laggy. Rockstar are very intelligent, and know how to make fun games. I'm confident Rockstar N will take care of their Muliplayer, and make sure there are no extreme problems like EA games.

Multiplayer is something that gives much more play time, and Rockstar will definately not stuff this up. I hope

i hope its dedicated cause my upload speed is capped to 128kbs. i hope its like Test Drive Unlimited cause those servers were lag free. I remember racing someone living in Ohio, USA and i live in NZ and that was mean.

My upload is worse than yours! (7KB/S or 56Kb/s). Yes, it's crap, but keep in mind that I never lag on the servers of Resistance: Fall of Man (dedicated). I'll be upgrading soon. (Hopefully.)
