LibertyCityStories 4 Posted March 3, 2008 Share Posted March 3, 2008 hey,in an earlier post I saw something about the gta3ps2.img file.But I can't remember if someone said that he can't extract the files from it.I found a way to extract them with YAIE(Yet Another IMG Editor).When I open an IMG file with it it says that the DIR file can't be found and it asks me if I want the program to create the DIR file.I choose YES and it creates it and I see what's in the gta3ps2.img file.If the content of this file is needed for something just tell and I'll upload it somewhere.Or who needs it can download the YAIE from http://dustcrazy.blogspot.com/2007/07/yaie...img-editor.html and can extract the files himself.But I can't understand why when I create DIR files for the rest of the IMG's in the models folder every IMG editing program shows me that they are empty Link to post Share on other sites

AA - Converted the LCS Police Radio into separate segements and used them to replace the San Andreas Police Radio [Works] ADVERTS - Replaced the San Andreas adverts and commercials with Blanks [Works] AMBIENCE - Got rid of the Night Club, Bar, Strip Club Music, reduce in size [Works] BEATS - Taken out Dance Songs, reduced in size, replaced San Andreas theme with LCS Theme and Mission Complete with the LCS version [Works] Link to post Share on other sites

It is based on the model of the leone suit, but in the original game, is the same model too. I did a intro editing the load screens, the movies, and some others stuffs. I uploaded the ANIM folder,the DATA folder,the MODELS folder as I said,the SPLASH folder(on PC versions of GTA it's equal of MODELS\TXD folder),and the TEXT folder.I did this because someone might need it.I noticed that in the MODELS folder all the IMG's content is only CHK files(textures) except for the GTA3PS2.IMG,it has got the all the models(MDL) in the game.All these things are about 110 MB so if someone need them he can download them.I think bbobik needs them the most because as I know he's doing the modeling,ash is busy with the audio Link to post Share on other sites

I know and that is his Toni, but with some bugs corrected in the model, high detailed texture (before 128*128, now, I extracted another .CHK file with the same texture in 256*256, better), and the informal skin with a better look. It's the same model, in the original game too. I think bbobik did a new conversion for his informal skin and it looks strange. About the tools, I use that: - [3Ds Max] Model Importer by AK-73 (For PS2 version, work for LCS and VCS) - LCS/VCS Text for open the .CHK files where are the textures. Well, I wanna help in this mod and I'll try to make Toni as Body parts, and maybe, convert some cars from the original LCS. But I don't know how to export for SA, for that reason, I will make it for VC, then bbobik, you can export with the SA features for SA. Greetings! I don't know how to repair this, if I put the face solid, he will can't move his mounth. But needs somethings to look better: Needs: - An engine texture - A crash texture for the dam models - A crash texture for the windows - A plate texture (but it is for SA, maybe the SA plates, will do all work). - Some textures I can't found in the .CHK file of the car. - Maybe a reflection texture for better look. I'm waiting for the requests of bbobik. For tomorrow maybe, I can have the car finished and for SA (but without SA lights and plates). Nothing more, greetings! Link to post Share on other sites

Well... a bit update from me Sindacco Argento converted to San Andreas, with SA plates, can be tuned in Wheel Art Angels (Spoilers, Wings, bumps, but needs and exclusive parts) and wheels from Securicar like the original wheels. Only needs a reflection, maybe a SA light (but well, I like with his texture), repair some others stuffs and ready. I'm making the cars, some cars... Greetings! Link to post Share on other sites

But I suggest you guys to use the "Intruder" model in San Vice to place into the Leone Sentinel. Also a Forelli Excess would be great. KEEP THE GREAT WORK ON GUYS! I'm really looking forward on this mod. p.s. Toni can sprint with all weapons including rocket launchers, minigun, shotguns, and lots of other heavy weapons.
