In GTA IV, you have the option to go on the internet with 100 sites to choose from "Thread somewhere"

 

 

But Are They Going To Put Those Sites on The Real Internet Too??

The sites are also on the internet as we speak, but not 'up yet'.

I believe there will be no internet connection required to run these sites from your Playstation 3 or Xbox 360, but is may be a choice to use your internet connection to update these sites.

I don't think R* has said anything about a connection between GTA and the real world

via internet connection. Why does everyone assume so?

I think people may be assuming there be on the REAL internet as well as IV's fake version because of the teaser site's like Libetypolice, and Wktt..ect - although it seem's pretty pointless to have them on the real web aswell dont you think?? / doubt there ALL be on the real web personally.
