GTA SA - second edition?

well i recently bought gta sa for pc and i noticed that it wusnt the same.... you cannot get mods and you cannot play multi player

 

is this suppose to happen? and i wus wondering wher i cud get the original version (THE GOOD ONE)

 

EDIT: btw.. is their any possible way to downgrade it?...AND play multiplayer with it?

 

BTW: this is wut happens ... this is after i downgraded it and i ran it...

yepp.... tried it... i think u can do mods not sure... but i wus wondering how u can do multiplayer???

 

keeps saying something about having the corect disk in

I don't have SA for PC but I have it for PS2 so I don't know much about mods. But did the downgradable patch work? I know for multiplayer, you can join www.sa-mp.com which is like an MMORPG which you can play SA with other people around the world.

In the wake of the 'Hot Coffee' mess.......San Andreas was re-rated 'AO' (Adults Only) by the ESRB. Most everyplace that sells games won't carry an 'AO' rated title.......so, R* came out with the second version which was totally locked down (non-moddable) and re-rated 'M'. No AO (original) copies are currently sold anywhere......

 

Hopefully the downgrading works for ya....
