[09:29] Disconnected from irc.gtanet.com Like i can read that i see it is something about Tor. I don't know why im banned. My friends use tor too and they are not banned. Luke Posted January 30, 2008 Share Posted January 30, 2008 Regrettably, we can't allow people to use tor on GTANet. There may be some exit servers which are not picked up by our system, we use a 3rd party blacklist that we share in common with other IRC networks - we don't actually control which IPs it dictates to be tor exits. Tor makes abuse and spam too easy on GTANet, like many other IRC networks we feel we've got little option but to outright ban it. You are of course welcome to connect without a proxy. There were a few days during which tor exit servers would not have been blocked because one of our BOPM servers was down, hence why you were able to get on previously. adam broke it. Well i didin't knowed tor i blocked at many irc servers i just downloaded it 2 days ago and tested how it work and then i wanted join irc and seen this lines . You just need to turn off tor when you're on IRC, and only the tor exit server is banned - not you yourself. Once tor is turned off you'll be able to connect fine. Doesn't need uninstalling.
