Now it is true that both may get downloadable content. However these TWO exclusive episodes have been paid for by Microsoft. Now put yourself in MS shoes if there was a mere hint that the PS3 was getting the same content as the 360 they would have an army of lawyers all over Rockstar. Please let this topic die, both will get downloadable content but the 360 will get two extra episodes because Rockstar were greedy and happily took the 50 million. Since when has R* messed up any of thier multi-platform games? If anything, the 360 version has me worried. The PS3 has the power to easily handle GTA4 and the 360 simply doesn't. Don't get me wrong though, the 360 will be able to play GTA4 just fine, I'm sure. But when it comes to comparing the two, the PS3 gets my vote. They will have a tough time fitting everything onto the 360 disc as well. The only reason the PS3 version was behind was because R* had to spend a little extra time developing and integrating a special program to get it to run correctly on the PS3's special processors. The 360 doesn't use the exact same tech but the 360 has that program already integrated into its processors. Just read the quote from the MTV article when they were talking to R* about the game. I'm sorry you're an idiot too. Alot of the alpha content will have been ported to PS3 because of course in November 2004 they didn't have SDKs for PS3, and that left only the Xbox 360 which was around for early development. So yes it is true part of the game was and is ported. Nothing wrong with that though. And just to clear it up dude, its not really a port, its more of a take all of the nice 3dsmax models and chuck onto the ps3 version. As for the moron that commented on ps3's game line up, lmfao i hope they all come out. Because all I'm getting out of it atm is my lineup of Bluray movies, thank god for Xbox 360 and Cod4. FALSE! Both consoles gave their development kit to R*. The only difference is that the 360 was started on first since it was released first (obviously). Infact Microsoft was the first ones to be offered GTA III exclusivly, but turned it down. Sony saw the opportunity and took it. Read all about it here. And your statement that the PS2 would have "failed" if it weren't for GTA III is unbelievably speculative. Especially since you choose to "disregard the already built fanbase".
