kalonius
I am going to buy San Andreas for the PC on Monday, and I imagine it will be in French (for some reason whenever you buy a game in France its in French. Stupid really...). Anyway, is it legal to change the language to English? If so... how? Cheers.
Bad~Boy#17
Isn't English the default ? Rockstar released only english copies, right ?
kalonius
That would be good... I wouldn't mind as long as all the dialogue is in English

kalonius
C'est mieux de parler anglais... le français, c'est une langue inférieure Anyway I've decided to download it through steam so there are no worries about the language. More than half the price too . Only 6 and a half hours left @ ~45 kb/s

Only 6 and a half hours left @ ~45 kb/s There have been a lot many issues reported on the Steam version including not being able to mod or use the downgrader patch. I hope you don't run into any trouble.

Girish
Thank you for the warning. However I have got a few ideas from here. Yes, but the method suggested in there requires you to have the original game on disc so that you can copy the original exe from there. So, if you don't have it on disc, I guess MTA is out of question.
kalonius
Yes, thats one of the things it suggests... I'll see what options are available once its downloaded. Only 7% so far I imagine I'll get around it one way or another.
GTAndy
Could you just rename the 'English.gxt' to 'French.gxt' and change the 'French.gxt' to 'English.gxt'?
