For example, you get to the shop too late, and its sold out, but they are selling a package, like a ps3 with the GTA game, or xbox, would you buy the console just to get the game ?? I suppose in this situation, you could just resell the console on ebay or something similar. Supposing you already own a ps3 or xbox 360.

I'll never buy a ps3 ... until it gets games.

So I think i've got time.

So to answer => NO

Come on. PS3 has games, some good some bad, same with 360.

But I would just wait if I hadn't reserved it.

*sigh*

The PS3 has games, and good ones, too. They probably just don't appeal to you.

To answer the question...hell no! You'll be able to find GTA IV.

Shops will purposely bundle it on the day, so when they do sell out, they make more money off the 2 consoles.

LoL no way man,ive already bought a 360 just so i could play gta 4.Even tho i really enjoy playin gta's i wouldnt fork over an extra amount of money 2 be able 2 play it.Besides theres more than just one store that will sell it.But i dont think i need 2 worry as im already on the pre-order list. tounge2.gif

Preorder is the safest method if you want to come back home with both your hands and legs.

Hell no because I already own a PS3 and 360 so I see no need in getting another one especially over a video game. I could wait until they got more games in stock.

Nah, I wouldn't do that. I luckily live in a place where games doesn't get sold out anyways. biggrin.gif I don't think Halo 3 got sold out at all here, as there was always 5+ games in the shelves when I went there. tounge.gif

They don't make much money from consoles. That's why when consoles are in short supply and high demand, they only sell them in expensive bundles with sh*t games.

I know for sure my nearest GAME would just sell the game out the bundle, whether that's legal/allowed or not i'm not sure, but I would think most shops would do that....If a game's available in a bundle but not sole-purchase, is it technically sold out??

this has to be one of the most unnessesary posts ever...

Not really. Some stores are notorious for bundling sh*t in order to move stale product or get you to dish out more money (it improves their numbers, after all).

I'd never buy something in a bundle unless the bundle really offered something else I wanted.

Effy in Chains

Well I have pre-ordered (the Xbox 360 version), but ignoring that I suppose a PS3 bundle would be good if the price was a good ideal.

I would do it the GTA way and hold the f*cking store up. Actually i wouldnt id leave the store quietly with a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach wishing i pre-ordered it and then wait untill they hit the stores again.
