chrisisking
Well this is how I've got it down, the special edition and normal game wise are identical hence why I just got the normal version. But you do get some extra goodies which include: 1. The game comes in a different box design 2. A GTAIV duffel bag 3. An artbook with never before seen production pics and drawings 4. A custom soundtrack of the games music 5. A safty deposit case with keys and an exclusive R* keyring You get all that with the game. So if you think thats worth the extra £30 then get it otherwise stick with the normal as the actual game is identical.

MysteryGamer
"The game comes in a different box design" I thought that but it seems like the game will just come normally like the regular game with the same artwork on the game case. This question is a bit daft really it is obvious the Special Edition is for the really big fans of the game. Fair enough it may be crap to some but others want it including myself. No-one can decide for you can they? I am getting the Playstation 3 (Special Edition) personally and I have pre-ordered it for a lower price because the original £70.00 is pretty expensive compared to what people in America will end up paying. BigBoyTraks
It doesn't really matter. In reality all that matter is the "Game". But its up to yo buddy
Warden Rhubarb
I ordered the special edition because i needed a new duffel bag. $30-40AUD extra for the bag, CD, Artwork book and safety deposit box seems like a pretty good deal to me. Rabia
From the pictures I've seen of the SE, the box is entirely black. I want the extra goodies but I also want the art!

Sabin8
I'm probably going to buy the normal one. Those things look cool, but I'm sure they will loose their novelty feel in about 2 - 3 weeks. Don't need any more stuff cluttering up the house.
Dem57
I think that that the SE edition of GTA 4 i on of the few SE's worth buying, but then again i am a GTA fan. Edited January 26, 2008 by Dem57

$tr4nger
I sure won't be getting the SE. Games are expensive enough as they are, here in Ireland (75e/$110..).. Oh the limitations of a rip-off country....
mufakamills
The only thing I would want out of the Special Edition is the artwork and the box design. I don't need a duffel bag or any of that other stuff.
GTA-MATRIX
If you have some money to spend into useless stuff, then buy the special edition. But if you just want to play the game, buy the normal edition It's up to you, we can't decide for you. You cannot say it is useless. To have the artwork & the CD are pluses. Still i am sure the artwork from the book will be on the internet quite soon. So i do not know. All i can say is.....Its that first experience you want. To feel like you have that connection to the game ( With that bag and all ) Thats why i am getting.....
jorgerdz
probably the special edition its ont THAT expensive and the box will be really useful plus the duffel bag i could use it for the gym
Jimmarn
I took the Ordinary most because it wasn't cleared that there would be a SE when i ordered... then i thought maby i should cancel the order and order the SE but then i saw that i ordered gta when it was sale on the website i ordered from... + that if i order the SE it will take one more day before i get the game + i don't get it right into my mailbox i'd really like the keyring though
ryan207
Walking around with a Rockstar/GTA IV duffel bag seems pretty gay to me. Why do ya say that? Everyone loves GTA so how could it make you gay??! It dosen't make you gay, it would make you look like a geek. Just like if you walked around in xbox clothing, then you would be a gaming geek eventhough everyone loves xbox. Basically it's alright to play it/ talk about it, but it makes you look weird if you wear it.
