Bad~Boy#17
Did you mod your game ? Also, try deleting the gta_sa.set file located in My Documents \ GTA San Andreas User Files
gtamodder
Have you changed any hardware? If you have, you need to delete the .set file (located in My Documents\GTA San Andreas User Files. Have you installed any mods? If you have, i believe you are on vista, there is a extra step needed to do (only on vista for installation to work) 1. Uninstall SA 2. Delete the San Andreas folder (Located at C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas) 3. Search for a folder called AppData 4. Open the folder, then follow this path from here Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Rockstar Games.\GTA San Andreas. Delete that San Andreas folder. 5. Install the game. Spider-Vice
Did you mod your game ? i have uninstalled it and reinstalled it at least 5 times Ahem... If he uninstalls the game at least 5 times, of course it's not modded. The right question is: Did you donwloaded the game? Some files don't become deleted when the game is un-installed. A good example is a file called "D3D9.dll", which is a mod for turning engines and lights on and off. Yes, but if he is on Vista, then reinstalling normally, won't make the game load if it crashes before reinstalling. He'll need to what i posted before if he did mod his game. @random_rednut: Can you please post your system specs too?

super_slav
If you downloaded a save file for the wrong version of the game it will do that. Or if you have installed mods fro v2 without using the downgrade patch.
