Any help appreciated. Get it, it's very fun to play, there is loads to do, and does have some replayability value. It is totally worth the purchase in my opinion. Blackadder.
If you've been a Star Wars fan for a while I'd suggest you pick this up, even if only for the story. I don't own the game but have heard only good things about the story. I've played the demo however and it is a great deal of fun to toss Stormtroopers and the like around. Seddo
I finally completed it yesterday night and got the light side ending...i'm going to play through it again but how would i go about getting the dark side ending?, is it something to do with using a specific light saber say red on the Emperor at the end?. Also the ending was pretty sh*tty, after going through the game beating all these Jedi's then owning Vader and the Emperor and then you just die, i know they tied it in with movies to bridge the gap between Episode 3 and 4 but they could of done something better... saintdave
I also completed yesterday and got the Jedi/light side ending. After the cinematic where the Emperor starts using force lightning on Kota and Organa tells you to help him you have the choice to either jump down to the ledge on your right to fight Vader and get the dark side ending or go forward and fight Palpatine (which is what you & I chose). saintdave
Well it’s not so much a choice as you get neither a message prompt or arrows pointing in the 2 directions. Instead you have a free screen and you decide which way to go.

saintdave
For me I got to the top of the level via that air chute but I kept missing the jump to the area the black saber crystal was on and it took many goes to reach it. I’m playing through the game again now, on a harder difficulty and with the intent to get all the holocrons and complete bonus objectives on each level. Of course now you have the powers and moves you earned playing first time through it makes the early levels very easy regardless of difficulty. Seddo
Are you going for the Trophies Dave? (does SW:FU have them?). Apparently for the 360's achievements to get the high difficulties you have to start from scratch, you can't complete the game and use all your upgrades to start a new game on a high difficulty to unlock them I'm assuming the PS3 Trophy system will be the same. saintdave
PS3 version doesn’t have trophies sadly. So yeah I’m just playing it through again to get the alternate ending, get all the collectables found during the levels and get every move you can upgrade to. I'd recommend using a guide of some sort to get the Holocrons, thats what i'm doing as it's much easier, as some of them are in places you would never look. tuff_luv_capo
I started playing this the other day, and I'm having a hard time getting the force grip to work every time. It's like a 50/50 chance it works, especially during boss battles where I stand there looking like an idiot getting hit because I'm trying to grip something. Other than that it's a pretty fun game that doesn't get boring. Though it's nowhere even lightyears near the prestige of KOTOR. I think I'd even place Battlefront series above it, but it's been a good rental.

brz59
Just finished the game. I have to say that I was rather disappointed. I loved the story and all, but the game itself was very frustrating. I don't remember when I last time got that angry when playing a video game. All those stupid deaths, stupid camera, f*cking idiotic targeting system and enemies were too damn hard (played on medium difficulty). Jedi "boss battles" were a joke compared to hordes of enemies (I especially hated those big droids with rocket launchers). Very frustrating game. It actually didn't even feel like a Star Wars game, it felt like another platformer, just SW themed. Only good thing about this game is the story, or maybe even fighting system. I kinda liked it, though it is idiotic, that you can't grab those 3 meter long droids, but you can pull a damn f*cking star destroyer (the most idiotic and frustrating part of the game). It wasn't VERY bad, but it was VERY frustrating, that's my major complaint. If you want something to make you angry, this game is an excellent choice. Embrace the dark side. ...Oh the part with Darth Vader at the beginning was very cool. The best part of the game. The wookies, bridges... Just too bad, that you can't force choke with Starkiller. Damo.
Yeah, I was expecting better. I enjoyed it to some extent, and the story was great, but the gameplay could be incredibly frustrating. Somewhat tedious too. I loved using the force powers but they could have had some stealthier missions or dialogue choices to mix it up a bit. Also, the game wasn't long enough. There was only about eight missions. They really could have fleshed out the story a bit more. Overall, it's alright, but only alright. It could have been much better. Blackadder.
Oh hey gaiz, lets remake the best selling version Star Wars game in history, just so we can screw over the guys that made it so. I don't own it but f*cking hell LucasArts, way to screw over the loyal fans who bought it on Day 1 and be nice to those that never got around to getting it. dave, you also forgot to mention it's coming to PC. deathdealer
^it's george lucas's way of milking star wars even more. I'll get the dlc but I will not buy the sith edition just to play one extra level.
blitsie
So the game is getting ported to PC,eh? If I heard right, didn't someone at Lucas arts say that the PC didn't have enough power to run the game? I guess that means that PCs finally got enough power to match the 360's amazing graphics,oh how joyful....
pizza guy
It's strange, Computer & videogames.com mentions it's two levels, one for tatooine, the other being hoth, the trailer that's been released suggests that too. Does look fun

It's nothing that hasn't been done before. You know how screwed I felt when I bought the Elder Scrolls III for Xbox, and then a week or two later the GOTY edition was released. But who cares, I survived, and really haven't thought of it since. Thankfully I've yet to buy this game, so either I will wait for the Sith edition or buy the marked down original. Creed Bratton
If they make a good PC port MAYBE I'll buy the game. I have the PS2 version cause I was pissed when they said no PC version. I had a PS3 at the time. Sold it later so it was a good choice. PS2 version wasn't bad at all.
asimov
I just downloaded the demo of this yesterday, it's pretty fun but I've got a suspicion the demo isn't very good compared to the actual game. The graphics look really rough and the controls are a little clunky. How does it matchup to the full version?

darthYENIK
I still haven't played the full game, but I heard that the level progression is accelerated during the demo. So the only real difference in the demo is that you level up faster, so you can get the full game experience.
