saintdave
I cant get the game till next week sadly (pay day) but I really cant wait. Just been reading some stuff on the game. You can get a black saber crystal as well as some other colours not seen in the movies. The following clip is also a spoiler, shows off an old enemy - Clip ( )
Vanillainy
Been playing it for a while now, love it. Spent like an hour on the first level just throwing wookies off bridges and pushing them around. So funny to make the bridge wobble then watch the wookies fall over. The following clip is also a spoiler, shows off an old enemy - Clip ( ) Why would Darth Vader send this games apprentice after Darth Maul, which was also Darth Vader apprentice. Also isn't this game supposed to be set during 'a new hope' and 'episode 1'?.

Also, do you get used to the controllers, they seemd a bit tricky on the demo
Vanillainy
Why would Darth Vader send this games apprentice after Darth Maul, which was also Darth Vader apprentice. He hasn't, that is Proxy he's a training robot that can change into anyone so you can train against them. @Waddy: Yeah its playable, you get to be Vader and go after a Jedi on Kashyyyk, were all the Wookies are. I'm not bored yet, as you progress you unlock more powers and combos so I still have quite a bit to unlock. Controls are a bit messy, but you do get used them after a while. Also isn't this game supposed to be set during 'a new hope' and 'episode 1'?. I think you need to brush up on your Star Wars trivia. A New Hope and The Phantom Menace are decades apart, you'd be left with a pretty big timeframe (and two movies!). Also, Darth Maul was introduced (and killed) when Darth Vader was still a boy, would have been quite hard for him to train a sith before he even turned to the dark side (Revenge of the Sith). But just to set the record straight, this is set after Episode III (Revenge of the Sith) and before Episode IV (A New Hope). The Clone Wars have ended, and Vader and Starkiller are hunting down the last Jedi in the Galaxy. Shame this game isn't rated M+, then you could probably go to Endor and toss Ewok's around! Vanillainy
Shame this game isn't rated M+, then you could probably go to Endor and toss Ewok's around! That would be awesome. But Wookies and Jawas are good enough.
Seddo
Meh i always get the names mixed up, i know what i meant it just didn't come out right . Shame this game isn't rated M+, then you could probably go to Endor and toss Ewok's around! Yeah giving the game a teen rating means your losing a few things that would of been cool, such as chopping limbs off with the light saber and such. Decapitating a wookiee, then using lighting grenade on the head to kill another wookiee would be epic.
Mand'alor
After scanning through all your comments and seeing a few reviews of this game on youtube etc. I'm definitely buying this when I head back down to college Sunday evening. I'm a die hard Star Wars fan so I know I won't be disappointed with this game, I heard the storyline kicks all sorts of ass.
Abel.
This game is the sh*t! The physics are brill, just fantastic! The models, textures E.T.C. are awesome. Vanillainy
Just picked mine up before and i'm about to give the game a whirl now . What difficulty is everyone playing at?. Normal, didn't want the game to be a total breeze. But I see the game has achievements for completing it at every difficulty. So does that mean you hav to complete it 4 times? Hope you can get them from doing a difficulty above, like doing hard would unlock easy and normal etc. I really hated the Felucia level, I died about 6 times. Unfortunately Lucas arts has confirmed that Force Unleashed will diffidently not be released for the PC. Which is a shame, as mods would have been exciting. And what is up with the Playstation 2 version getting significantly more content? Not only does it get more levels but you can also unlock costumes to play as the Emperor, along with many other characters. Which is bullsh*t, I wanted to play as the emperor, I might as well buy the PS2 version.

I went on for a couple of minutes last night to try it and and ended up playing for about an hour and a half , i was playing on the first level for a while just pissing about on those bouncy bridges watching all the wookies fly off. I just loved the way Vader just blasted through the whole level using the force, blowing the bark of the trees, and everything . I'm currently playing on the third hardest difficulty, some areas are pretty hard and just rape your health lol.

The developers have said they wanted each version to have a distinct feel to them, leading the 360/PS3 to have fancy physics, the PS2 having extra training modes, the PSP having a 'historic mode,' the DS using a unique input and...wait for it, the Wii having a Local 2-player Duel Mode. AbSoLuTiOn
I hate Star Destroyers and TIE Fighters. I am finding it really hard to take down the bastard, i get to a point where it just does not move. Can someone give me some tips, it's becoming quite tedious and i have literally sat there for maybe an hour trying to get the f*cker down.... Can someone give me some tips, it's becoming quite tedious and i have literally sat there for maybe an hour trying to get the f*cker down.... Weird, I just game here to post about this. Although I literally just passed this part, f*cking annoying though. It took me ages to do it. Use force lightning to take the tie fighters down. Double jump then use force lightning on them when they fly close to you, Then just line up the destroyer on the first go. Wait for the next wave to get close enough to take a few shots then let go and proceed to jumping and using force lightning. Getting the timing right to take them down might take a while but you get used to it and you'll probably be able to take them all down with 2-3 flybys. Then repeat, I managed to do it withing 5 waves, but you can do within 3 if you are fast enough. But what do you mean it doesn't move? I've had it get stuck a few times, just moving the right stick up a bit did it for me.

And holy sh*t, it just seems awesome that i've actually brought it down. I did it on the 4th wave, for some reason the stick movements on screen didn't correspond to what i had to do, i just had to move the stick around randomly until the thing went green, 1 round of moving the bastard, 3 of actually pulling it down. Thank god i've done it, now for the Death Star!
Vanillainy
Ah yeah, I had that. I moved it to where it told me to and it stayed red, then I moved it around randomly and then it turned green. Annoying.
Iminicus
I rented the game over night, waiting for my copy. Loved it. Beat it in 7 hours but loved it. Gonna replay it and go after Vader a second time and try and get the achievements. First game where getting a achievements seems more like awesome than a chore. Seddo
For those that have completed the game: When you have completed it can you carry over all your abilities and combos and stuff so you are pretty much got some decent moves to start on the hardest difficulties?. I read in a review that you could do so, so...I guess you can. So they managed to screw up an epic scene in Star Wars history by bodging the controls and sending TIE fighters to pester you? Damn. If you put it like that, you make it sound awful. I will admit, it is so annoying having TIE fighters on your ass every 2 minutes, but apart from that is fun, plus, the stick movement problem isn't to bad, the fact that you are actually pulling down a Star Destroyer kind of overrides all of that, plus when you actually start pulling it down, it gets closer and bigger and you start to think, "Holy sh*t, i am actually gonna bring this bitch down". It is worth it after the annoyances that occur before hand.
