Eh, just another major screw-up, like with the Weapons locations near Blueberry.

 

I mean, look just a finger's pace north of Blueberry at that ring of weapons that don't even exist. Most of them are out in the water; as with the armor location right on the shores of southmost Las Venturas on the same map. (On the Los Santos weapons map on Page 14/15.)

 

The "chrome guns" (or at least 99% of them) don't exist either. Those locations are completely false. I've searched for the "Chrome guns" for hours with a jetpack, and never found one hindsight of them.

The Chrome Gun is another term for the Spaz Shotgun.

 

As for this screw-up, it is nothing really to worry about; the San Andreas guide is infamous for having typos all over the place. An example on the guide for the mission 'Pier 69'; all the paragraphs are in mixed orders; it is difficult to actually find the strategy for the mission.

 

And how did we get from a discussion about the faults of the Brady Guide the physics? I am all for scientific discussion, but guys, this is not the place.
