Datalord Posted January 25, 2008 Share Posted January 25, 2008 In the local news recently the first picture mention in this article has caused a bit of a stir. Full picture, large. I never believe these things in pictures, as I've never first hand seen anything like this and usually these things are hoaxes and fakes or just coincidences. Yes, it does look like a face, but could it have been edited in or maybe just an artifact of the poor camera sensor, but who knows. I just thought I'd share. Real or fake you decide. He said he didn't used to believe these things til now, told him it was bullsh*t, but he wasnt for being talked around, like a few of my friends who are gullible for this sort of stuff. Now that I've seen the picture, i still don't believe it, probabl some huge coincidence or file corruption on the phone/camera (maybe merged with another file somehow?) or its just a fake. Still, pretty cool that some news from right near my house is on GTAF. P.S I'm guessing you're from around the Middlesbrough area too then, Datalord? hope you're a boro fan lol. Seriously, there is a young girl in the front of the pic, why can't the so called ghost be her brother, who just hapenned to be among the legs of the girls, like many babies do. The lighting down there was prety sh*tty, combine that with the low resoloution, omghost. Next on, the second ghost pic. Who gets luck like that, 2 ghosts in a row? To me it looks like a bit of a flame and smoke, no more, no less. It's sad that every other topic nowadays is about fake sh*t like the world ending in 2012 or aliens found on Mars. The first one would have to have been done in a dark room to get those results and the face at the pant legs there would be the face of the person in the dark room if I am correct. Like I said...Looks like a double exposure or even an improperly erased digital file can yeild similair results as a double exposure unless this is an intentional thing which could leave some other options depending on whether it is actual film or digital magic imagery. If someone showed me some irrefutable evidence then I'd have to consider it, but from everything I've seen it's all a bunch of grainy, black & white crud. Photoshop works wonders.
