Darrel Posted January 26, 2008 Share Posted January 26, 2008 I remember when Gta III first come out i played it 12 hours straight. Had a break, then went back on it. That's the best option lol. My first experience with that sort of thing came when I first got my N64 with Mario and Zelda. I can't remember how long I played, but it was that afternoon and into the next day, that's for sure. I haven't repeated anything like that since. I'll probably hit a good 8-10 hour run with IV, and it'll come down to a more healthy 1-2 hrs a day, on average, after that. Nothing too astounding. If you want physical effort, start working out!! cause in 4 month you can actually accomplish better things that way than getting fat and neurotic and playing a f*cking game like 200 times in a row. Madness i hear people shout, ah yes but there is a method to it, think about it like this ... You decided to play GTA IV like for 3 days straight but due to the overall godlyness of the game your addicted and dont feel like sleeping, i remember reading a while back about a japanese girl who died after playing i think World of Warcraft. She played for 62 hours occasionally eating and drinking with no short breaks for fresh air, needless to say she died unfortunately, the lack of sleep, food and drink took its toll on her body and it gave up on her. But thats just a story to make you wise to the dangers of compulsive playing, the other half of the story is like this. Remember what game you are playing ... GTA IV now give yourself a moment to think about all the negative press that GTA causes, If you die after playing like a basement baby i can only imagine the headlines GTA Kills French Man Another GTA related Death Is Bigfoot really in GTA IV Anyways the negative press this could cause would be astonishing and probably with jack thompson sticking his nose where it normally is the game would be banned. I was wondering if it was possible to start playing , let's say at 22h pm on 14th and finish playing on September 13th ? I'm not totally insane , so i plan to take 3 days a month to sleep non stop , then play again. Is it possible ? Maybe someone did it here ? And you most certainly can't stay awake for the other 27 days of the month. Just play the game normally, like play it for long hours in the day/late night. In your sofa, lights off, you and GTA IV enjoying every seconde of the game clearly. And not play much, much, much to finish the game in less than a week.
