MatiSk8 Posted January 25, 2008 Share Posted January 25, 2008 Hi. I have a problem. I want to delete Los Santos and Countys, SF, LV and desert will stay. I tried to use Map Cleaner (I marked what it had to delete). But it deleted whole map. So, is there any other possibility to delete only LS and county? If yes, how to do that. Please help. creative madman Posted January 30, 2008 Share Posted January 30, 2008 go to gta.dat in your data folder, open it with notepad press ctrl+R and replace all "IDE DATA\MAPS\LA\" with "#IDE DATA\MAPS\LA\" repeat the steps for the other sections simple but use a stripped SCM, otherwise youll either indefinatly fall through the map, or it will crash,. i dont know, ive never tried Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
X-Seti Posted January 30, 2008 Share Posted January 30, 2008 Removing the IDE entry alone will not help, remove the IPL to match. You have to look at the IDE file, and look at the models and textures listed (2nd and 3rd words) and then remove those from your GTA3.img file. .
