October16th Posted January 25, 2008 Share Posted January 25, 2008 Im having trouble playing world of warcraft with this video card ATI RADEON XPRESS 200 Series. how bad is this card? also is my processor bad? AMD Athlon 64 processor 3500+. what graphics/processor would i need to run games like say... WoW, SWAT 4, Sims 2. not high end graphical games, but still game with ok graphics. Slamman Posted January 27, 2008 Share Posted January 27, 2008 There's a hardware shootout on an aBit board with one PCI Express 16 slot, AMD 939 socket and 2GB RAM as well as miniATX form factor, they loaded it up with the best AMD they could find and used the onboard Xpress X200 as well as two PCIE cards, the ones I just bought for AGP x8 and PCIE on my own PCs, the Nvidia 6200 and X300 ATI with no markings on it, I had to use a detection software like Everest to find out what it was! The onboard video was the X200 and as Wiki will show as well, DirectX support in 9c and up requires and 800 or higher, and top end 6900 Nvidia as well, so above all of the cards they tested. October16th Posted January 27, 2008 Author Share Posted January 27, 2008 i belive i mis-worded what i meant. sorry. i meant what video card would i ned to run thouse games at max. i can run games pretty well, it's just that at mid settings it runs at 15 fps which is unacceptable.
