Hayden
I had to get in before it was too late to officially say Happy Australia Day! I got my dates mixed up earlier so sorry if I caused any confusion or was perceived as a tw*t. I could smell the BBQs, and hear lots of music around my town. Seems almost everyone had a great day. *Word*
Wow, my Oz day turned out dud as. Only had 4 beers the whole night, didn't get an opportunity to get any more. Went down to the Bay, where everyone basically is (or supposed to be), and wasn't that good, and then on the way home was gonna go to some random party with a mate, but I wasn't drunk enough to talk to, and enjoy myself with complete strangers. Mabes next Australia Day. Oh well, hope some other people had better Australia Day experiences that myself. Share them if worthwile. Happy Oz day everyone. makeshyft
Today was a great day. I went to my brother's 21st birthday party - held in a 1920s-style room - and got stuck into the bar tab. Somewhere along the line I convinced one of the bartenders to give me his Australian flag - all the bartenders wore them as capes - and wore it over my shoulders. Head a-glow and shoulders of red, white and blue. Happy day, all.

Mand'alor
Also, drinking to get pissed is just stupid. My god would you not want to say that in Ireland. Seriously the majority of people in this world drink to get pissed, including my good self. Hope you Aussies all had a good day, there was a group of Aussies in the pub I work in and they were totally wasted and wearing Australian flags as capes. TheDude5000
Man. I was just in this aussie chatroom, prentending I was an Aussie, making up some whacky stories. One of them was a coyote flying through the windshield of my Saab on a lonely Sydney highway. Yeah, we had some good conversations in there. Oh but uh, Happy Australia Day, and stuff. *Word*
Damn saw on the news a couple hours ago what happened in Perth over the weekend. Mass brawls and sh*t. Looked pretty nuts, they had some decent footage of the fights; one part that was f*cked was where some black dude got bottled by some other c*nt. Jay
Australia day is on Monday, you realise that, right? It's just being celebrated on Saturday because people are too lazy to change their Saturday routines to Monday. God you're a f*ckwit sometimes. Australia Day is January 26th. It doesn't matter what day it is, the 26th is always Australia Day. We get Monday off because you traditionally get a day off out of it, so trap up. sh*t slash I knew after reading his post, you'd be on his tits soon enough. I spent Australia Day watching cricket, suffering from sunburn, drinking beer and spending time on the Murray River kneeboarding and stuff. And entering (and subsequently losing) pie eating competitions.

Yeah, some pommie fella was waving an english flag chanting along and got bottled and everyone started smashing on. The filth were everywhere, blocked off the road etc.
