Ronnyboy
After seeing the new trailer, and looking at pics Im kind of dissappointed in the new KITT. I maybe a Blue Oval fan, but Im also a Knight Rider fan. I rathered would have seen a Koenigsegg or a Corvette as KITT. What would you want instead, or do you like? anus
Am I the only person who thinks the original KITT was, is and will always be the best Knight Rider? These new cars can't touch the original KITT.
Picolini
Meh, the old Knight Rider was cheesy anyways. And they used a Trans Am. A TRANS AM. Not a Ferrari or something, so why would they use a Koenigsegg? Maybe a Corvette, I think it would have suited it better. Anyways from the trailer the show looks pretty boring. bagga rabbit
'Stang. Why not? A good choice.
xXGTAPHREAKXx
Meh, I like it. And on a side note, am I the only one who hates the word 'stang? It sounds retarded.
epoxi
FAIL. The Mustang is a legendary car, but is famous for being low-tec. You need something with that KITT streamlined, futuristic body, like the Thunderbird, or even the old BMW 8-series. *MURDOC*
Bad choice indeed, shouldve stuck with GM imho.
bagga rabbit
Ford probably "ponied" up a bunch of cash to convince the producers to use their car.

Kimd41
It's a U.S. show..they're gonna pick an American car. Isn't the Corvette Z06 American too? I think it fits better. Just my opinion.
MaroonZ28
Ford probably "ponied" up a bunch of cash to convince the producers to use their car. I wouldn't doubt it. The 3rd gen TA that the original KITT was based off of was very futuristic at the time unllike this knockoff of a real classic. I hate to say it but I really think the Pontiac Solstice or Saturn Sky would have made a great KITT along with the Z06. I'm gonna bet that the show will get canned not long after it's premire
lurchseesu420
First they make Bumblebee a Camaro and not KITT's a Mustang. Is nothing holy?

YourNeighborhoodKiller
I say a Chevrolet Stingray would be a better choice IMO.

GTA3Freak-2001
No matter they had picked I am sure it will never match the originals. Slightly OT but is this Knight Rider an actual movie or just a TV movie deal?

Iminicus
And Pontiac didn't front up money for Transformers? Or Ford in Die Hard. You all act like companies PAYING for product placement has never happened before. What about the Ferrari in Bad Boys 2? Ferrari paid for that. Get over yourselves. This sh*t happens all the time. I like it. I hated the original KITT.

bagga rabbit
Why can't KITT have a female voice? Maybe that chick who played "The Nanny". Fran Drescher. frandrescher.ytmnd.com/ Edited January 27, 2008 by bagga rabbit

Guybrush Threepwood
Why hasn't SIP smashed this topic with his fist of logic yet? He opened the topic and was knocked out by the Fist of Disarray And Madness. He's pobably bleeding to death on the floor. As for KITT, I wouldn't even have picked a car. With the number of drunken incidents on Hasselhoff's name he'd be better off in unmotorized transportation (bicycle) lest he breaks down, starts drying and bawling all over the place. Reminds me of this ford commercial i saw the other day, its called "I am Legend". Pretty much everything he drove in that film was a Ford. And in perfect mint condition of course. Except for the scene where his truck gets totalled. I love how at the end, the chick has the same exact truck he was driving, with all the same accesories. So realistic. unopescio
Dammit, I'm so sick of these assholes f*cking up the classics which should have just been left to RIP in honor. The new Indiana Jones movie better not suck or I'm going to cry.
iRloading
KITT may have looked cool if it was one of the newer corvettes and such~ guess they really wanted a different approach mustang seems more 'raw power' than the 'sleek speed' look the first KITT had going for it~ besides, if they can get someone more awesome than mister hoffman sporting a leather jacket. Might as well change car brands too
