SCLASS
One thing that always annoyed me about previous GTA's is how dim the office and building lights tend to be compared to real life. In Los Santos for example, the CBD seems to be lit up with 40 watt bulbs. If you travel more than say a half mile from this area all the buildings are shrouded in fog - fine its a draw distance issue I here you say...But it is annoying not to be able to see a vista of BRIGHT city lights. Hopefully the power of the next gen consoles will solve this,...just put in SA and youll see what I mean..
MattPwns
I havnt really noticed this but now you mention it the lights are way off. I mean Las Venturas (Vegas of SA) is exactly the same. And with Times square being featured in IV i would like to think R* took into account all the flashing billboards and lights, would be a big job getting the reflections on the cars right while driving through here though, phew! SCLASS
^^^ True, and as I said, performance is probably the issue here, I really hate how in Las Venturas there is massive slowdown on the strip.
RidingHigh
I hope the sun is going to be as bright as it is in real life too. So you will have to wear sunglasses while playing, and even suntan lotion sometimes to avoid burns, or worse yet, that pesky skin cancer.

Lets hope there are no nuclear power stations in the game then.

I agree with the sunglasses thing but maybe the tan lotion i would give a miss lol. And the cancer, this just brings up the level of realism in the game, maybe the hospital system has been changed so you dont like simply spawn outside healed with less money. Has anyone discussed this along with the police station?
fishermanGTA
I think kikizo's latest preview talked about being able to see the ciy in the distance, after the drinking sidemission, and about how brightly lit it all was.
