When he came a young boy who was likewise peddlin' pot, So the Devil slid down to the beach and said "Boy, let me tell you what..." And so on. I reckon the Devil should've won. Not because I'm a Satanist or anything, but the Devil lost to Tenacious D and if he lost this battle, his reputation as a hard demonic c*nt isn't as high as the good Lord... who could probably take on Status Quo, Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd at the same time. The Devil Went Down to Georgia" is a southern rock song written and performed by the Charlie Daniels Band and released on their 1979 album Million Mile Reflections.
