I'm stinking with sony this time around. The thought of microsoft putting out the xbox360 before it had all the bugs worked out seems a bit too lazy to me. Funny you say that when most of the bugs, glitches and framerate issues were being found on the game that was running on a 360. Also it's no console's fault, the developers just needed more time to make the game enjoyable for both systems. Back on topic, I have both consoles but I'm getting GTA IV on the PS3, but I hope for other people that it you don't get the Ring of Death since I've gone through that and it is not cool. But from time to time, a "could not read disk"-failure message appears and I have to restart my xbox again. Im supposed to buy my PS3 next week for GTA IV. Im just used to playing GTA on a sony console so i would feel funny playing on a XBOX, therefore i have nothin to worry about. HellZ Posted January 25, 2008 Share Posted January 25, 2008 For some reason I still want an xbox, so I will eventually own 1 hopefully I wont get the RROD I got a XBOX360 and a PS3, They're both excellent consoles, despite red ringing, Microsoft is quick to fix everything, but imho, the 360 is a little bit better, and If you have both, or are buying a console for GTAIV only, I'd go with 360, if only for the DLC. And no I will not refrain from telling you that because of this delay, you and I will get a more stable and bug free GTA. How would they not run into problems, the xbox has been out for longer than the ps3 and they had time to get acquainted with it. It's understandable that they could not keep the pace working on both consoles. And if you think that the ps3 delaying the game was bad, well look at this and blame your xbox. Its the first xbox ive bought, always been a sony guy. Yea I was a PS2 fanboy and still is. I actually wanted a ps3 but my dad surprised me with a xbox 360. Luckily there is a next gen dragon ball game called Dragon Ball Z Burst Limit for Xbox 360 only. Same here, was never an xbox fan, but felt like a change so i bought the 360 instead. i will buy a ps3 if my 360 starts trippin which i hope does not happen. well it wont break if you have it in a no dust place( The xbox 360 sucks in air which I dont get) A way to prevent the Red Ring of Death or Overheating is to keep it clean, keep on a hard floor instead of carpetting, and Keep it AWAY from the wall as farthest as possible. If you keep it right near the wall, the heat will bounce off it and go back into your 360 causing it to overheat. Cool, yeah i keep mine clean and i dont play it much (until GTA IV comes), but i find it stupid that there is even a ring of death, there shouldn't be any problems like this. I did not play my 360 for a week and turn it on and Rings of Death. So I sent it in is there a good chance that I’ll get a newer one with a lesser chance of getting the Red Rings of Death?
