I've started every GTA game (since III, anyway) on a Friday, and I don't intend to break tradition for this one. I might open the case and read the manual though, scanning the list of radio callers so's I can see if they picked my call (WKTT Talk Radio, anyone?). lol are you serious? About waiting until Friday? Yeah, like I said, it's tradition. You realise thats 3 whole days??? Let's just say that OCD can be a harsh mistress. Totally with you there. Failed to pass high school because I wouldn't turn in my homework or go to class if things weren't done perfectly and in a certain order. Luckily I'm in decent shape now though, I'm working on becoming an air traffic controller... probably one of the few careers where OCD could really actually help you more than hurt you. Oh and I also like the avatar, I'm a GM fan, and I have a sweet Buick GNX with a new crate 350 all rat rodded with black primer and black rims. Lowered just a little bit to give it an aggressive stance... Sounds and runs like a beast. And here's my GTA IV plan. (1) Request off of work for the 29th & 30th. Like next Monday perhaps. (2) Find a store that will be open at midnight for the release. (3) Camp out starting out at like 8:00pm while playing my psp liberty & vice city stories (4) Make a mad dash like a rabid bitch for the GTAIV PS3 Edition. (5) Buy a PS3 (haven't gotten one yet because I want GTA to be the one to take my consoles virginity. Each console I've had ps1, ps2, and psp, GTA has had the pleasure of being each's first game. And so it will be with my PS3 (the OCD thing again).) (6) Haul ass home and play the majority of the time I have off over the next two days. (7) Feel completed. After killing him and stuffing his body in a bin (jks ) I will walk carefully to my PS3. The PS3 will be of course in a GTA haven. The couch will be pulled right up close to the TV, next to me a case of crown lagers, a case of softdrink, numerous scattered bags of candy's, chocolate etc. I will then procede to make love to the manual, carefully peeling each page accross to reveal all the info. On April 28th I will be at Wal-Mart by 11:45 PM. It's usually deserted so I can probably guarantee I will have the first copy sold. It's a small town where I'm from. Anyway I wouldn't do this on April 29 because it's not very likely to be released in Brazil as soon as it's released on the rest of the world. And even less likely considering Counter Strike and EverQuest were banned here this week, because of the same old bullsh*t of "games kill people". I read a while back that the best way to "chuck a sickie" (fake illness to get off of work) is to go to sleep after taking a shower, not dry yourself off, and leave the window next to your bed. This gives you a sick sounding voice. Then call work at like 4am and call in sick (this makes it more likely that you were up all night and just need to sleep it off. So I will just wake up, get to my local Gamestop at about 8:30am, wait for my good friend Jeff(who is also the manager at this Gamestop ) to open up the store, walk in the store, and he'll give me my copy of GTA IV. Then I'll go home, eat a good breakfast, play a bit of my old games and then play GTA IV, preferably for the remainder of the day. I reserved it early, #1 on the list, luckily.
