One time I had a game and the cd was brand new, but it gave me that message so i could not install. But first of all is the cd scratched at all? if it is scratched then that is a different matter, but if the cd is ok try this... 1. COMPLETELY uninstall the game and delete all files associated with it 2. delete everything in you temp folder, usually at C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Local Settings\Temp 3. clean the cd for good luck 4. reinstall and see if it works. i think that is all i did, but im not sure. once again if the cd is badly scratched your out of luck.
